Charming cottage in the mountains of NE Georgia, five minutes from Clayton, GA.

  • Hi, thanks for taking the time to check out our cottage. Clayton Cottage is a two bedroom, two full bath cottage in historic, and fun Clayton N. Georgia. The cottage rests directly off of Hwy 76W, five minutes from downtown Clayton (brewery, shopping, antiquing, restaurants & more). Within thirty minutes of Black Rock Mountain, Tallulah Gorge and Moccasin Creek State Parks. Under ten minutes to Lake Burton swimming access, around fifteen minutes to Lake Burton boating access (MCSP). Central to numerous hiking trails, waterfalls and car-accessible scenic overlooks.

    The main living area has two couches with end recliners, a Smart TV, sound bar, DVD player. Board games on site and available for guest use. Free WIFI.

    Bedrooms - Super comfy queen beds. The master bedroom has a TV and a private bath.

    Bathrooms - Two full baths. The hall bathroom has full tub and shower. The master bedroom bath has walk-in shower. Full size washer and dryer in house.

    Kitchen - Everything you need in the fully updated and stocked kitchen - plates, cups, utensils, spices, coffee, etc. Stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, tradition drip coffee maker and Keurig coffee maker. There is a bar/table that seats five.

    Rear deck - Fully operational gas grill on rear deck with spatula/tongs and spare propane cylinder. Chairs and railing lights for relaxing before and after the steaks are done.

    Front porch - Covered porch with ceiling-mounted fan for a breeze and features a rattan swinging egg chair along with two Adirondack chairs for watching the sun fade from the mountains as the yard solar lights begin to light up the evening into a small wonderland.

    The yard has a small fire pit with several chairs for marshmallow roasts or simply enjoying the campfire flames lighting up the night.

    Guest access
    Parking right out front of the cottage on paved roundabout or out back in gravel covered carport. Hwy 76 is right out front and will take you to wherever you want to go.

    Please no smoking in house or on porches.
