Great place!

The Vista motel/Resort is my favorite lodging in Lake County ESPECIALLY during the off-season winters. It's quiet, directly on the shore of Clearlake. It's a small town, old-style motel.

Don’t be confused by the word “resort” in the name. It’s a bare bones place to sleep and forget about it. The lake view is nice and the staff is very friendly.

The pictures do not do this place justice. This is a really gorgeous view that was a safe, functional place for me and my dogs. We were just looking for somewhere to stay for a few nights and this place was perfect. When I go back, I'll definitely be booking here again
