"The view from the back deck is magical, we spent 4 nights at the property and 80% of the time was sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck just gazing out at the water and listening to music. One of the most relaxing vacations we’ve had!!"

"A delightful place to stay with all the conveniences of home. A very well equipped kitchen and great laundry facilities if needed. Great location near really all facilities one would need. "Beautiful view! Had everything we needed. Loved sitting out on the deck though a.couple of chairs need to be replaced. Living room windows needed a cleaning for those that needed to be inside and look out. Would love to know the story behind the building of the house. Very unique rooms, knicks and crannies, pictures covering up pass throughs, etc. great conversations on what the rooms were used for before. Blackberries were ripe so a brave soul took her chances in the backyard and picked us all some (has great potential back there but won’t recommend walking around). Never had to sign a short term lease through the owner before. Had some difficulty receiving it but they were very nice and worked through the issue quickly."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is wonderful, just a short walk to downtown, where you’ll find cute little shops, restaurants, and the delicious Sluy’s Bakery. Just be prepared for the uphill walk back—it definitely gives you a little workout! Carol recently replaced two smaller windows with a large picture window, and the view is fabulous! There are also so many thoughtful little extras throughout the property, including snacks, movies, books, and toiletries. The outdoor area is cute and also has a great view. The property is lovely and quiet, and I really did enjoy my stay. A couple of things to be aware of, the bed was a little too high for me, and I found the microfiber sheets to be somewhat slippery. I wouldn’t recommend this property for someone with significant mobility issues. The bathtub is also quite deep, so caution is needed when getting in and out. Overall, this is a charming, peaceful place in a fantastic location with a beautiful view and lots of thoughtful touches. I would definitely recommend it to guests who are comfortable with a higher bed, uphill walk, and deep tub."
