"The front desk staff were very helpful and professional. The first room we checked into was heavily fragrant so I asked if they had non-perfumed rooms and they did. The manager switched us to a fragrance-free room. The new room was clean and fresh. Nothing missing in the room except for hooks in the bathroom. Otherwise it was perfect. The stairwells and long hallways to the rooms were confusing to me, They all looked exactly the same so I kept getting lost between the parking lot and my room. Perhaps some indicator numbers painted on the corner walls might help, or painting the stairwells different colours, or putting different pueblo symbols, just an inexpensive suggestion. We loved this inn and will definitely be back. Thank you."

"We enjoyed our stay tremendously. House was beautiful. Kitchen and living room were spacious. Loved the bedrooms and how each had King beds that were very comfortable. Especially loved the wrap around deck where we spent most of our time looking at the scenery. Loved also that our pet could be out on deck without worrying about her.We will definitely spread the word on how fantastic our vacation was at the Selah House. Very impressed and appreciative that Mark accommodated us by allowing us to check in earlier than scheduled check-in time.We highly recommend Selah House for anyone who wants a relaxing and cozy stay.Thank you for one of the best vacations we have had, and we have had plenty with all of our 6 kids and 8 grandkids."
Secluded Mountain Getaway with Million Dollar Views, Pet Friendly

"The basement bedding was not a comfortable space. Bunk beds with spartan mattress. There is no bathroom downstairs in the basement. Person staying downstairs had to go upstairs for facilities. My only other issue was the limited lighting over the dining room table. Antler chandelier put out little light. Bulbs burned out and couldn’t locate any replacements. Owner was very kind as I missed the correct day of departure and allowed us to hastily gather and pack and clear out. We delayed the maid service by an hour. Thank you, Barb for your understanding."

"My wife and I and two teens stayed at this spacious and clean cabin. There are two bedroom areas in the upper loft mezzanine with an upper outside deck. There are bunk beds in the basement. the main bedroom is on the ground floor off the living room. All very nice.From the large living room windows, the pine trees provided privacy and views of the distant mountains in Carson National Park.We really like the location because it allowed us to travel to the Rio Grande Riverto fish and raft, to Angel Fire, to go along highway 518 (high road) for stream fishing and then to the town center of Taos.The owners have very good taste in furniture and in artwork. Some really great pieces. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen must have been newly remodeled, with great cabinet space and countertops. The appliances were all stainless steel and new as well. We did use the washer and dryer once. All good.Outside is a L-shaped deck had plenty of seating, a dining table and a propane gas grill. We cooked our first night there grilling steaks. Excellent. Highly recommend staying here.Thanks for sharing your property."
