"Le propriétaire est quelqu'un de très agréable, très accueillant. Nous étions 4 couples d'amis avec 5 enfants (de 1 mois à 5 ans). L'endroit est reposant et magnifique. Le service est de très grande qualité (la maison est magnifique, les pièces sont très grandes, la literie est top), tout est compris (linge, draps, ménage en fin de séjour) ce qui rend le séjour zen. Les enfants ont adoré nourrir les animaux. Les parents ont adoré les soirées sur la terrasse, le terrain de pétanque, la piscine...

"Janet and Chris were very welcoming and the property was clean, nice decor and well furnished, an ideal size for a couple or even with a child. It was a great base to explore a part of France that we were unfamiliar with and our dog was well catered for with nice walks in the area and also from the cottage."

"This is truely a splendid location to enjoy the Brenne's amazing rich nature: red deer, wild boar, red fox, a great number of bird species. They can all be seen around the house and in the etang and forest in the 'backgarden' of the beautiful house."

"Fijn verblijf. Aardige en behulpzame gastvrouw en heer. Prachtig gelegen. Goede uitvalsbasis voor mooie fietstochten (E-MTB) door bossen, agrarisch gebied, dorpjes en de stad Loches. Het was koud (eind april). Het huisje ligt op het oosten en pakt weinig zon. Verwarming is OK, jammer dat de haard niet gebruikt mocht worden. Verder is het huisje goed uitgerust."

"This really is a Narnia house- the entrance is somewhat deceptive because once you get inside it is quite magical. Not only has the owner, Nancy, gathered together a lot of fascinating French antiques, but it is also a very comfortable house with every modern appliance you can think of. We didn’t use the garden much as we had a lot of rain but it is pretty, enclosed and safe for our dog. The village is within easy walking distance and has a baker! Date of stay - 23 - 27 September 2024 "

"We only booked last minute and were lucky that we could stay here as it’s normally fully booked. And we got why! It’s a wonderful area with a lovely house. Very clean and modern on the inside and beautiful on the outside. The pool is lovely and the view from the pool is just amazing. Alain and Marie where very helpful and kind. "We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday staying for two weeks in this lovely gite. The property is beautifully restored and has everything needed for comfortable living. The photographs do not do the property justice as it is much nicer than shown, with a lovely shower room and separate toilet facilities and lovely shady areas to sit all around.The swimming pool is beautiful - chest height throughout with easy access steps and new quality sun beds and shades.Our hosts were lovely and provided us with gifts of fresh eggs and produce from their garden.We enjoyed exploring local towns and villages where there are many colourful markets and lovely places for coffee and lunch.The whole area is very tranquil and the gite is in an incredibly peaceful spot.Thank you to our hosts - we hope to return next year."

"If you like old towns with history and want to stay in an old coaching inn (logis de france), then stay here! It is old but cleaned very well. The restaurant (also dining room for breakfast) is beautiful. Le monsieur (owner) is a excellent chef and madame serves meals for an elegant and unhurried evening. often only 4-6 other tables dining. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved Loches and the Hotel de France!"
