"Wonderful"

"Lovely quiet and secluded. The area around the lodge is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were lovely as well. We used the lodge as our base for a couple of days of hiking in Connemara and it was perfect! The only issue we had was our room was too hot and we couldn’t find a thermostat to lower the heating, opening windows was not really an option because of insects."

"From the moment we walked in and we were greeted at the front desk, to our breakfasts, to dinner in the resturant the staff made us feel right at home. The rooms themselves were large, very clean, the beds comfortable, and the views of the clew bay amazing. Room service was fast and hot, the laundry service as well was very fast. I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat to anyone. We stayed in many hotels while in Ireland and this one was by far the best. As a side note there is a lot to do in the area and is a Westport is a great friendly little town. "

"The Inn is beautiful! The only negative I have is the lack of air conditioning and /or ceiling fans in guest rooms. The windows are set up to open only about an inch. This does not allow for air flow. Very stuffy "

"The hotel was very busy so we expected a nosy night but even with the window open it was a good nights sleep. Nice location with shops within walking distance. "

"We stayed a week in this beautiful place. The house is well equipped, no need to bring anything. Eileen has maps and guidebooks ready as well as her own knowledge of the area to share . The views from the many windows were wonderful."
