Their hospitality was amazing!Rental was immaculate and comfortable, and the special touches of fresh flowers, treats, coffee/ teas much appreciated. Highly recommend!"

"Had a great week at the abbey court hotel. rooms were spacious and clean. Great atmosphere throughout the hotel. Breakfast was great and also had a couple of dinners in the restaurant which were fantastic too. Staff very helpful. Would definitely be back"

"A lovely stay. It’s an old hotel with a special vibe but the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was fantastic and my room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Even though the rooms could do with some refurbishment, this places into insignificance when compared to the great food and lovely staff"

"A truly ethereal location, unlike anything we have ever encountered. The accommodation so reflects the owners, Dave and Suzanne, who were so warm and friendly. If you want something different, gothic/eclectic, in a beautiful mid-Ireland settlement, this is for you! And it was dog friendly! Loved it!"
Luxurious Cottage Set in Beautiful Irish Countryside.

"We were two couples and the cottage was very spacious. No small rooms. Plenty of seating. The beds were very comfortable. A wonderful kitchen with all of the amenities. Three baths that were very nicely maintained and very clean. Our stay was 10 days so the laundry was used a few times. Our hosts stopped by a couple times when we had a few questions and they were very pleasant and super attentive. Emailing with Jeanette was great with quick turn-arounds. The property was very nice, quite and a great place to relax with cows in the distant pastures. Lawns were very well maintained. We would definitely recommend this cottage as one of the best."

"This is a lovely farmhouse about a mile outside Birr, County Offaly. The owners are a great couple; the hospitality was fantastic & obvious from the start; there is WIFI; car parking space; room very comfortable; John even charged my electric car; the breakfast was fabulous. This was a better experience than most hotels. We really enjoyed our stay; pity it was just the one night. Overall a brilliant experience."

Fabulous Lakeshore House with private Jetty on Lough Derg

"This is the third time we have stayed at GarryUrra over Christmas and the house never disappoints. The setting is idyllic with a gorgeous lake view. The kitchen is well-appointed to cook Christmas dinner for a large group. Our son told us that he was hit by "a wave of nostalgia" visiting the house where he has spent 2 prior Christmas vacations, so we think that says it all."
