"Room was clean and had new everything it seemed. Easy check-in. Highway noise that becomes white noise, does NOT take from the stay. Lovely old place that has been given some TLC and some pride that has made this a great place to stay!!! 10/10 would stay again."

"Very remote cabin, no other campers the night we stayed-very remote. No water near by-pack in water, extra water. The property was beautiful and large. The listing makes it sound way more informal than the owner intends. Make sure to ask ahead to view the livestock. I wasn’t sure how to access the breakfast thats listed. Couldn’t find the water front view that is listed. The process for getting firewood and water could be better especially since you can’t take firewood in. More signage would be helpful. If you’re looking for middle of no where camping this is it! I would camp here again but I’d ask for clearer instructions/rules for finding trails, White River access, obtaining water and firewood."

"Everything was clean and tidy; we really liked it. It is a wonderful, peaceful place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and have beautiful, unique experiences. We were delighted and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is perfect for families to enjoy ❤️"

"Good escape to the lake with dogs. The view and access to lake was as advertised. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Loved the firm pillows and soft sheets.It was not the minor things (nails sticking up on dock, no cutting board, no note saying may want to run dehumidifier in bedroom when staying during summer so not 80% humidity while sleep) that kept the stay from being 5 stars. It was the lack of real communication with host. We ended up not using the hot tub or gas grill during our stay because our questions about them were not answered despite sending messages soon after the host had asked if there was anything we needed. Given the message that got 24 hr after asked my questions, suspect almost all communication was automated and no one was checking in on us after the first day."
