"Nice Place"

"The entire hotel was disgusting, no pool, no breakfast, had to changed rooms because there was spilled dried soda on the end table and long hairs on the pillow. The carpet had not seen a vacuum in at least 2 weeks, and the elevator was just gross. I'm usually not one to complain but this wads just ridiculous."

"There was no iron or hair dryer. The door was broken so badly that I had to be given another room. I had to ask the management to come set-up the tv and then the remote didn't work. The toilet seat was broken and there were gnats flying about in the bathroom. There was no ice bin or plastic cups. The shelf next to the sink had been ripped out of the wall."

"Not impressed with the room or amenities for the price. I felt penalized for not being Hilton Member. Was told the reason we were charged $4 for bottled water was because we were not members it would have been free otherwise. Felt forced to use Valet parking. Was given the option to use the back parking lot and when we did, there’s no entrance from the backside of the building. Had to walk all the way around Glad we didn’t use anything else!! Not the way to get someone to become a member!!!Paid the same price in San Antonio at the Mokara and was worth every penny. We didn’t have to do anything they got our ice brought us complimentary fruit treated us EXCELLENT and that was the first time we ever stayed there. Valet was included in the room. Needless to say we WILL NOT stay at Double Tree or a Hilton again if this is their idea of 5 star."

"The room was okay but the carpet was old and torn. The tub was nasty and moldy around the drain. I wouldn’t take a bath. The bed was nice and clean with fresh sheets and the refrigerator was clean. Overall, the room was not worth the price. This was a two star room with Three star price. Beware!"

"The room I got was in terrible condition. The shower was dirty and the entire room had a VERY strong odor of cigarette smoke. The TV wasn't working because the cable was torn out of the wall. The bureau had holes drilled into it. The mattress was also very hard. The overall condition of the property was bad, parking was also inconvenient. For the price they were charging, I ABSOLUTELY would not have booked the stay. The one redeeming quality was that they refunded most of the payment, I booked for a week and did not stay one night."
