"We had an amazing experience! Stayed with my children to visit Misquamicut beach. The room was clean. Staff were excellent and the property was so unique from boxed hotels. We enjoyed the porches and rocking chairs. Had breakfast outside. Just so lovely. We ate dinner at the restaurant as well. It was delicious and fairly priced. The pool was clean and we also enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be back! It’s a gem."

"I booked a presidential suite, same as years past. Unfortunately this time I was checked into a much smaller room, and it did not have a gas fireplace like past rooms. I selected daily cleaning at check in, nobody showed up to clean the room, make the bed or switch towels. I called to remind that cleaning was not done around mid day, at 7:00 pm cleaning was still not done. I called again, a team of three housekeepers showed up to take care of it. We left the room to allow them time to do what needed to be done. They made the bed and left two clean towels but did not clean the room. Being a jacuzzi suite more towels are needed to be able to shower in the morning. I might look for other options on this annual trip, very disappointing."

"Nice room, and the hotel has been remodeled. It's a good place to stay, has a great location, very nice staff. It's not the Ritz, but it's clean and a good place to stay. We have stayed there once or twice a year for many years."
Winnapaug Inn

"Winnapaug Inn is in great location and not the ridiculous prices that hotels on Atlantic Ave. charge. Winnapaug Inn can use some improvements as far as the rooms and the sliding glass doors."

"The gentleman that checked me in was very nice. He made the check-in easy. At first, I was taken aback by the room - very, very dated. The furniture is so dark and old. The rug has stains all over but it was vacuumed. The sheets were clean and the bed was surprisingly very comfortable. The mini pillows (yes, they are half the size of regular ones) were the best pillows I have had in a hotel for a long time. I wish I could have stolen the one I was sleeping on. The toiletries were a nice surprise. The toilet and the shower were very clean. The light switch in the bathroom wasn't secured, but it worked. The walls and door in the bathroom looked like they tried to do something, but never finished it. There's little nail holes and unpainted parts. The room was very quiet. The AC was wonderful. I could feel it hitting me on the other side of the room. I did not eat breakfast there, but the area looked clean to me. Overall, if you're looking for a place to spend the night and not lounge around all day, this is the place for you. I would sleep there and that's it. They do have a television, but I didn't use it. I would recommend this hotel. Even though it's dated, it's very clean. The check-in and checkout process were seamless. It's quiet and I got a good night's sleep there. "

"This day was nice rooms were clean staff was friendly and ready to help. So you better get your pocket book ready it is very expensive and they will catch up with you real quick."
