Features and Amenities

This luxury little small features warm underfloor heating, a gourmet kitchen outfitted with Bosch appliances and a dishwasher, plus an elegant spa bathroom for ultimate comfort. Your suite comes fully stocked with premium dishes, appliances, luxury towels, and linens.

In the inviting living room, you'll find a plush leather queen sofa bed—ideal for accommodating children or guests—a cozy fireplace, and a unique round picture window. Enjoy your favorite movies on Netflix or unlimited choices via Apple TV, all with complimentary high-speed wireless internet. Private parking is available for guests. We are pet friendly!

Additional amenities include access to a private swim spa, and hot tub. There is a guest laundry, library, children’s toys, free bicycles, and an outdoor fireplace on the estate.

Step out onto your private deck with tranquil views of the treetops, and unwind in your own garden space. The Escape is perfectly suited for couples or small families seeking comfort and relaxation.

Xanadu Estate is across the road from Arbutus Ridge golf course, driving range and tennis dome. There are trails, wineries, cideries and farm markets close by. You are close to Cowichan Bay for fresh seafood, Shawnigan lake for picnics and swimming, and many excellent restaurants and pubs.

You have privacy and beauty. Wander outside to meet the friendly bunnies, birds and deer. Enjoy the warmth of the outdoor fireplace. Enjoy breakfast outside in the sun.

For fitness folks there is a private year round heated 19-foot swim spa, hot tub, and trampoline. For the rest of us, comfy lounge chairs. Escape Guests can use all the amenities of Xanadu Estate. You have 11 acres of trees and gardens to enjoy.

Immerse yourself in complete privacy and beautiful scenery, where deer roam freely around the estate. Gather with loved ones by the outdoor fireplace for a cozy atmosphere or savor a leisurely breakfast outside in the warmth of the morning sun. Afterward, unwind on comfortable lounge chairs set amid the tranquil gardens.

The Escape is on a private treed area of Xanadu Estate. Guests can easily walk in a few minutes to the large lawn, garden, swim spa and hot tub, and outdoor fireplace area.

Nice cabin, fully equipped, close to many hiking trails, golf, west coat beaches. Easy access to small villages for amenities and very close to many wineries. God place to unplug for a week

Perfect little retreat in the trees

This cute little cottage was a perfect home base with a great location for exploring the local area. The way the Escape is situated you almost feel like you are in a tree house. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals with the fresh produce we found at local markets. The area is quiet and the property was a great place to explore with our dogs. Thanks Jane for everything, hope your recovery is going well!
