Staff was excellent in helping me adjust and also help me in getting a tour guide last minute. My room upgrade was wonderfully amazing and everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed my time here. My experience in Machupicchu was incredible and this hotel made it perfect! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Machupicchu!

Great stay!

Henry, our guide took great care of us. We liked that the lodge was more casual, no staff in pressed white shirts. We highly recommend Yarina Eco Lodge!

Convenient lodge close to the river

The location is perfect for an amazon experience. Edwardo was an excellent guide. Pity we didn't spot any caymans but over all we enjoyed our time

AprĂšs un petit couac d'arrivĂ©e (on nous a attribuĂ© un bungalow en face de la cuisine et tout prĂšs du gĂ©nĂ©rateur, alors que nous avions expressĂ©ment demandĂ© Ă  ĂȘtre loin des deux), tout s'est trĂšs bien passĂ© et nous sommes trĂšs satisfaits de notre sĂ©jour au Yarina Ecolodge. La rĂ©servation par hotels.com donne droit au mĂȘme package que si on rĂ©serve sur le site officiel du lodge, c'est-Ă -dire la chambre, la pension complĂšte et les 3 sorties par jour avec un guide anglophone. Le bungalow s'est avĂ©rĂ© trĂšs confortable, l'Ă©quipe trĂšs disponible et sympathique (ils se sont d'ailleurs mis en 4 pour nous chnager de bungalow). Les repas sont bons et copieux avec possibilitĂ© de nourriture vĂ©gĂ©tarienne. Seul regret peut-ĂȘtre, des sorties un peu courtes l'aprĂšs-midi (de 15H Ă  17H seulement). En rĂ©sumĂ©, trĂšs bon rapport qualitĂ©-prix !

Surprising Escape

I booked for our family vacation without knowing the details. The lodge is NOT accessible by car so do not trust your Google map! You need to get to a hotel called Oasis in Coca to take the motor boat to the lodge which isn't anywhere in the researvation. We arrived at 7 pm, ie too late to take the boat as the last one leaves at 5 pm. At the beginning we were told to come back the 2 nod day which made us unhappy. At the end, the owner decided to run another trip to bring us to the lodge, and since then, we can't say enough to good things about it. For 4 nights and 3 days, we had a guide and a translator organizing our activities, from exploring the jungle to visiting local community. The guide named Wintel is knowledgeable, sincere, and lovely, so much that my little girl cried when leaving at the end of our vacation. The lodge's condition is primitive, with electricity running only a few hours a day and hot water supply very unstable. I could hear my daughter coughing across several cabins, just to say it's more like camping than hotel. But it's really a huge change for us to be so close to the nature, living without electronics or technology for a few days. The worst thing we had was some mosquito bites. The rest is wonderful pictures, and memories.
