Wonderful house. Very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Beautiful grounds and fantastic hot tub. Owners are very responsive and easy to communicate with. Our favorite house for a long weekend of relaxation.
The property is well manicured and stocked with all that you will need for a relaxing getaway. Spacious accommodations, very clean, and super comfortable. Excellent rating!
It’s exactly how described!!
Very clean, very well stocked we loved everything about this cabin!!!
Would definitely recommend it and we will definitely come back❤️
This was a very clean, comfortable place to relax for a few days, with lots of amenities both indoors and out, and helpful homeowners. We would definitely return.
Beautiful home, very cozy, excellent for winter time, although I’m sure just as good year round. Beautiful view in the back, especially with the snow covered trees. Everything we were looking for for our get away.
Fantastic cabin with lots to do or not do and just relax. House had everything as advertised and the property is very relaxing. Just what we wanted for a great getaway weekend from the city!
We all loved it! Our friends are from Rome so a long cabin on a pond in the woods is a welcome novelty. It was comfortable, roomy and quiet. Great kitchen for making pasta. Great dining room for sharing food and wine. Thank you!
We had an awesome few days in a peaceful setting. This was the best stocked vrbo we have visited and Julie thought of everything! She met us at check in to review the property and offered suggestions of local food and beverage places that we could go to. We relaxed, enjoyed the hot tub, fished and went to the Woodstock Museum.
Definitely will be visiting again.
We spent our honeymoon here and it was absolute perfection. The pictures do not do it justice. It is even more beautiful than it looks. The cabin was gorgeous and very clean, and the property is breathtaking. Julie could not have been more helpful & responsive. We had an amazing stay & we will absolutely be back again.
Our family of five had a relaxing, wonderful time. The property was just as described, and Bill made sure we were comfortable asking questions. Check-in was easy. I was a little worried about the lack of air conditioning in August, but there were fans everywhere making it quite comfortable. We loved kayaking and relaxing in the hot tub. Everything was wonderful. Great place to unplug and take it easy.
The house is lovely and our family of 5 (incl. 3 early teen boys) had an amazing stay. There was so much to do - DVDs, board games, foosball, air hockey, frisbee and kayaking/swimming in the pond - that we rarely left the premises. The house had more than enough space, and was well stocked and clean. Julie was super communicative. We had a great stay and look forward to going back!
This was our 4th stay at Moonrise and we will be booking it again!
The cabin and property are amazing! Very clean and well maintained. And the location is in close proximity to places we want to visit. The cabin has all of the amenities one could ask for. The huge trees, the pond, and the outdoor deck create a sense of tranquility.Julie and Bill Rozar are the perfect hosts and are available if needed. I was so happy to meet both of them. We are looking forward to our next vacation there!

This is the second time we've stayed here and both times were immaculate. If you are looking for a restorative weekend away, this is the place. It has a pond for cold plunging, a sauna in the basement, outdoor shower and hot tub on the porch. It also has air hockey table and the indoor fireplace keeps it cozy all day and night. I love the nostalgia decor as well, including but not limited to a fabulous DVD collection to really take a trip back down memory lane. Communication is great with the hosts, never too much but always responsive and helpful. Can't say enough good things.. We love this spot!
Everything was amazing. We decided on this location because of the privacy, and it was perfect. Not only was it a private place, but we had our own lake with kayaks, hot tub, game tables, and any small amenity that could be thought of. Everything was extremely clean, and you could tell the owners care about their guest's comfort by all the small details.
We communicated with Julie, and she explained everything, they were happy to answer any questions and was happy to come if we needed help or stay away and give us privacy. We are definitely looking forward to coming back.
What a slice of heaven! We chose this location and home to have a restful getaway and we nailed it! Between the peaceful sounds of nature, the wildlife and the cozy cabin, we truly enjoyed our time. The owners clearly care about this property and have kept it so clean. Would highly recommend!
We had a great time and stayed at the cabin more than we had planned. We were enjoying fishing in the pond every morning while having our coffee and every evening before winding down in the hot tub. The bongo drums were a pleasant surprise. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was a wonderful time and I’m sure we would stay here again.
