Cozy hotel in Cochem

Wonderful cozy hotel. Our apartment was very comfortable. The view on the river from our kitchen was outstanding. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning.

If you have mobility issues this property isn't for you. I have bad knees and had to go up 3 flights of stairs to our room. Not worth what you have to pay, although breakfast was good

Enjoy Cochem

I booked the room with balcony. Good size clean room. Bathroom has being renovated. Balcony is good place to sit and enjoy wine and watch river flow by. Continental breakfast was good. Has cold cut meat, freshly baked bread, hard boiled eggs, etc. Note hotel is on the other side of Cochem town. It is 10 to 15 mins walk to Cochem proper. Also if you are coming by train, station is 15 to 20 min walk.

Not what it’s cracked up to be

The hotel is okay. The apartments, which have two bedrooms are more of an air B & B than a hotel suites. They are pretty basic, have no ac, and the floors squeak loudly. The bathrooms are cramped and the doors hit the toilet. They said on the Hotels.com listing that all of the apartments have an outdoor space, but some only have access to a yard two stories below. The pictures make the spaces look nicer than they are. The location is convenient to Cochem and the river. The provided breakfast was adequate but not great.

Very good location

Good location within short walkingdistance of the citycenter. Very nice view to the city (we had a dobbelt room with balcony) and the river Mosel.

If you have mobility issues this hotel is not recommended. Stuck in the 60's. Needs upgrading. Thin towels. Teeny bar of soap.

Cochem 1 natt

Trevligt bemötande vid ankomst. Varmt rum, saknas air condition men fönstren gick att ha öppna nattetid. Lyhört. Trevligt med öppen terrass för hotellgästerna även när baren/receptionen var stängd. Och man kunde köpa vin och öl från en kyl i trapphuset och ta med ut på terrassen och se när slottet lystes upp i solnedgången. Lite snålt med duschgel. Bra frukost.

Einfach und unkomplizierter Check in nach 18uhr. Sehr gute Lage um zu Fuß Cochem zu entdecken. Einfaches Zimmer, alles da was man braucht. Super Aussicht beim Frühstück.

Gammelt og slidt hotel, som ikke helt svarer til billeder og beskrivelse. Håndklæderne var slidte, døren til værelset klaprede voldsomt, når yderdøren smækkede, så vi måtte sætte et stykke toiletpapir i spænd mellem dør og karm. Der blev gjort rent hver dag. Morgenmaden var ok. For dyrt ift. hvad man får

En blandet oplevelse

Lille ældre hotel, det kan have brug for at blive opdateret. Morgenmadsbuffeten kedelig og ikke meget brød med kerner. Kaffen havde stået længe på kanden. Små værelser med larm fra gangen, hvis nogen gik der Tænker ikke at benytte stedet en anden gang.

Fantastisk beliggenhed

Hotellet har panorama udsigt over floden og borgen. Det er en smule gammeldags, men rent og alt virker. God morgenmad og flinkt værtspar.

Zimmer sauber. Service richtig nett. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr schön, direkt an der Mosel und Gegenüber der Altstadt und den Anlegestellen der Schiffe für Rundfahrten etc. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Reichsburg.
