Julia´s Cabanas
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. View from the porch was spectacular."

Placencia Resort
4/10 Poor
"Splurged on what seemed best waterfront 2 br online. Wish I hadn’t. Old, run down, torn furniture, bugs EVERYWHERE. oddly expensive w beer and food more than twice other resorts visited the week prior. Charged ungodly amounts t for teenagers to rent each item needed for tennis and pickleball. The airport shuttle is effectively the only useful or valued amenity. Staff were friendly but whomever sets prices and decides where to invest resources is doing awful job. Frequent family visitors like us will spread word and soon customer base will dry up. Much nicer places down road are also cheaper and cleaner and more plausibly walkable to at least a couple eats. Never again. Can’t believe we paid so much for crummy night. "

Prana Maya Island Resort
8/10 Good
"This resort was amazing from the staff, who accommodated me and my wife very well, the room, the views, the food. There were plenty to do from swimming in the pool or the beach, which was literally a step off my balcony, to snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and pickleball etc. The resort is on its own lisland however they have boards to get from the island to the village on demand. This resortbis luxury and relaxation at its finest. I booked the spacious king and I'm telling you it's beautiful and luxurious and you will not be disappointed.
Just a few things to be aware of is room service was not 24/7 with a cutoff time of between 9-10pm. The food menu was a bit limited in my opinion however staff will try to accommodate your requests as much as possible. Also, there's a service charge at the end of stay which is gratuity for staff which I payed around $182USD for a 5-6 day stay.
I will definitely stay at this resort again. "

Umaya Resort & Adventures

"Very nice resort amazing beach and fantastic pool"

Sandpiper Beach Cabanas
10/10 Excellent
"An absolutely incredible stay in Hopkins! It doesn't get better than having your own private space right on the beach. It was nice to have our own kitchenette with a toaster, air fryer, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. Having AC was also a huge perk. Arlene was such a friendly host—helpful, attentive, and responsive. We had zero issues with check-in and were able to connect with her upon check-out even though we left at the crack of dawn. The area is very walkable to restaurants and convenience stores."

Maya Beach Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"House on the beach was great, great location, parking was easy. Nice and private. Only strange thing was second “full” bathroom didn’t have a shower"

Villas at Playa de Coco
10/10 Excellent
"The reality of this property is even better than pictures and description offer. The beachfront is truly lovely and the grounds are very well maintained. It seemed that all of the people working at the resort really enjoyed their jobs, and they were all so eager to help and make our stay excellent. I thought it would be awkward to share common spaces with others, but the shared areas were large and well distributed for groups, and the private rooms offer all the privacy we needed. These villas are such a gem!"

Seiri del Mar
10/10 Excellent
"Great place very quiet "

Brisa Oceano Resort
4/10 Poor
"The room was ok. I had to remind them to clean the room on the days it was supposed to be cleaned. For the cost, there were better options with more amenities at the same or lesser cost. The a/c leaked on our head one night, and when I went to the front desk, nothing was done. The rain one night came into the room through the glass door. Again reported it and nothing was done."
