Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, Fort Michaels sits on 1.5 acres of wooded, creek-side property located conveniently between the East Entrance of Yellowstone and historic Cody, WY. This cabin offers immaculate yet rustic indoor accommodations that include a fully equipped kitchen and laundry appliances to make you feel at home. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas and a hybrid propane/charcoal grill so you can enjoy the mountains as you cook a well deserved meal after a long day of exploring. This property is perfect for small groups (max 4) and couples who want a private place to return to in the evenings; however, it's so beautiful that you might consider spending a day by the creek reading a book and listening to the birds.

Beautiful cabin outside of Cody

Nice sized cabin with a great view. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The drive into Cody was 27 minutes and the view was amazing. Nice place to stay.

To me I liked the location for its close proximity to Yellowstone National Park. I enjoyed morning coffee on the porch taking in the Mountain View of the picturesque Absaroka Range.Very Clean and all the convinces of home.

Private Cabin Close to Yellowstone

Came out west to visit Yellowstone…this cute cabin was between Cody and Yellowstone and was perfect location! Cabin is private and located beside a creek that you can hear. Extremely clean and well stocked. Owners are great with communication….had an issue with hot water which owners handled promptly! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us on our amazing trip to Tellowstone!

Cozy Stay Near Yellowstone

Stayed here one night with my husband, sister and infant son. It was very clean and cozy, had everything we needed. The views of the mountains were exceptional. Would stay here again if we’re ever in the area!

Incredible Stay

My wife and I stayed for one week. This property is close to Cody and Yellowstone which are both amazing. It was a very comfortable stay with anything you could ask for. I would recommend to anyone.

Lovely place

It’s a cute cabin/cottage and very clean. It was close to East Entrance which we have found this last week to be the least congested entry! Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again!!!

Perfect location for Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Beautiful views of the sunset/mountains and a small fast-moving stream just behind the house so we left the windows open, great sleeping background noise. The family lived it.

A great little cabin for two. Very quiet, beautiful location. Cabin had all the comforts of home. We stayed 10 days to enjoy all the sights Wyoming had to offer. We would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Great cabin by the stream

Loved this place! Wonderful views of sunrise on the front porch. Gorgeous sunsets a little down the driveway. We liked being close to the park and still off on our own.

Peaceful, private, perfect!

Scott and MacKenzie were wonderful hosts, always responsive and helpful. The cabin was cute and efficient. We had everything we needed to explore during the day and relax together at night and in the mornings. The setting is quiet and we enjoyed being there immensely!

National Parks Visit

Our cabin was half way between Cody Wy. and Yellowstone. We went into the park three times it was convenient to stay at this area where the cabin was. The only sad part was the weather it rained for two of our five days it’s the mountains.

Perfect cabin for Yellowstone

My husband and I had a great stay at this cabin. It is nice and private without feeling stranded in the middle of nowhere. It was very easy to access Yellowstone via the East entrance. We saw a good bit of wildlife inside the East entrance too. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Scott and Mackenzie!

26 miles to East Yellowstone Entrance - Beautiful Drive

Enjoyed in the Cozy Cabin. Great bed with nice accommodations. It met all our needs. Nice quiet location right off highway. 30 minutes to Cody or 30 minutes to East Yellowstone. Would stay again if going this way.

Perfect Cabin with Mountain Views!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We definitely would consider staying here again in the future! This cabin is located in a very quiet peaceful area and it was the perfect place to stay part of our trip to Yellowstone. We loved having the grill to cook food and the outdoor spaces were just so relaxing: the creek in the back was very peaceful. We lived the decor in the house and everything was very clean wand orderly. Kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need and the bathroom as well!

Perfect Location

Property located 20 minutes West of Cody for shopping and restaurants. It's also 35 minute drive to the East entrance of Yellowstone Park. Beautiful Location on the side of a mountain, scenery is perfection, especially in the Fall season. I would recommend vacation spot to friends and family
