We loved our stay! We stayed in one of the historic rooms, which was very spacious, and everyone agreed the beds were really comfortable. We enjoyed both lunch and breakfast at the restaurant, and both meals were great. The bar was fun and inviting, too! This is a historic motel with character and uniqueness, not a modern, updated propert,and that’s exactly what we loved about it! If you appreciate history and places with charm, you’ll love it here. If you’re looking for a fancy, modern motel, this may not be the place for you. Our family will absolutely stay here every time we come to Cody!

Before booking, make sure boilers are operating otherwise you get a very cold shower in the morning. Unfriendly staff; phone is room did not function. Poor choices for meals. No elevator so pack light.

Very quaint room, old fashioned but comfortable. We were on the 1st floor, thankfully, because there is no elevator! No breakfast included, just coffee. Convenient location.

We stayed at the Irma over twenty years ago and were happy to go back. The beautiful cherry wood bar is still there but is now part of the overall dining room where you can eat at the bar. There is a saloon/bar set up in the original hotel lobby. We enjoyed the buffet dining option along with a regular menu for breakfast/lunch/dinner. We did the buffet for both breakfast and dinner and all the food selections were delicious. I find a buffet usually emphasizes quantity over quality but here at the Irma the quality was definitely there. Our group had rooms in the original part of the hotel and the furnishings and rooms are beautiful. We looked up "ghosts at the Irma" to get information on those stories; I'm surprised the Irma doesn't spotlight that for guests. And I do feel that guests should be told up front when booking that there is no elevator, and no apparent staff to help with luggage. One in our group saw a guest struggling with her suitcase on only the second step and offered to bring it up. If we ever get back to Cody we will definitely stay at the Irma!

Right in the heart of Cody. Close to the Museum of the West. A strong vintage vibe throughout the property…love that. Staff from check-in (and out), housekeepers, restaurant staff were all very kind, friendly and helpful. Having a restaurant at the hotel, that’s available from morning till night, is a very positive thing. Room was very well maintained and clean.

The Irma is a unique place. We have stayed there three times and hope to go back. It is right in town where everything is. It’s a taste of the old west. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

More like a neglected museum than a hotel. We stayed in a historic room, and unfortunately the 'historic, part seemed to include the cleanliness and maintenance. The sink looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in decades, the water flow was barely adequate, and the sticky shower curtain wrapped around me like an octopus. The floor was visibly dirty as well. I love historic buildings, but old-fashioned charm is one thing, poor hygiene and lack of maintenance are another.
