Cognin-les-Gorges Hotels

"we have stayed here several times. it’s a basic hotel that is convenient to the train station and town center. the negatives are lack of air conditioning and outside street noise can be loud if you leave your window open."

"Excellent food, innovative decor, caring staff despite personnel shortage."

"Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff"

"Great hotel, lovely staff, great location"

"Good location, in village, but roads are quite tricky if you are on a heavy motorbike. Only got chance to test out the breakfast, which was fine and the late arrival process worked fine."

"We arrived late in evening and they were very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer "

"Fijn verblijf."

"Reception was very friendly both at check in and check out- free of street parking - overall good cheap place to overnight "

"Confortable location for a short stay. Close to shops and restaurants."

"Very nice and calm. "

"Hotel was clean with friendly staff. Good value."

"Really good breakfast, nice pool, friendly staff who understand English well. "

"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."

"Es war alles super. Eine sehr nette Gastgeberin."

"Never had the breakfast, but looked ok. Safe free parking inside gated land. Please to see sir con in the rooms with heatwaves. Staff helpful and polite at the desk and chambermaids. Rooms clean, nice beds. Area not the best, but very close to National parks and besutiful mountain villages Quiet and recommended"

"L'annonce n'est pas correcte. Les draps sont en options ( 25€ de supplément, 40€ si c'est eux qui font les lits) et les toilettes sont sur le palier. Vous aurez ces informations dans le mail de confirmation après avoir payé le logement car les propriétaires sont bien au courant que ces "options" n'apparaissent pas sur le site. Si vous ne lisez pas ce mail, vous le découvrirez sur place. C'est plus une auberge de jeunesse. Les points positifs : la vue est superbe, une collection de jeux divers...

"This is a very good hotel with kind personnel, located at touristic place. A bit old-fassioned."

"The staff is friendly and accomodating. The hotel is also biker friendly. I did appreciate the night receptionist keeping an eye out for the motorcylces parked for the night"

"Good parking and staff."

"Probably the best short stay we’ve ever enjoyed. Ludovic was a wonderful host - hospitable and helpful. Maison d’Arlette is a beautiful home away from home. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and located in a picturesque garden with a lovely outdoor dining area and lovely small swimming pool. We look forward to visiting again."
