Little Bass Cabin - Kayaks & Clear Water Swimming

10/10 Excellent

"We booked a 4 day stay for 2 adults and one dog. We were planning to leave our other dog with a sitter, but the sitter didn't work out. The owners were wonderful, and said it was ok to bring him since we already paid the pet fee. The beds were comfy and the sheets were really lux! The 2 bedrooms with queen beds had a lot of room for our stuff, as did the small bathroom. The dogs loved the sunbeams coming through the patio doors. . The lake was quiet, we only saw one boat the whole time. Close enough to town to do a run if needed. There must have been some sort of construction going on, lots of trucks hauling things on the road. I haven't seen that in other reviews, so probably temporary. We hope to stay again sometime. Don't forget to bring your own coffee!"

"The location is excellent & it was super quiet! The AC is a wall unit so it is also super quiet! The bed was comfy & for a no frills motel & the least expensive in Grand Rapids, I would stay there again for sure. They do accept dogs for an extra $25. Mohamed has an ice maker in the lobby & the refrigerator gets super cold."

"We had wonderful stay. House is spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. Lots of attention to detail to make the guests comfortable. Beds are very comfortable and we loved all the outdoors furniture, swings and fire pit. The hot tub is amazing. One cold evening we used fire place and loved it. Thank you for the welcome gift, we did have s'mores! We did not use kayak or canoe but we appreciate providing that. We would definitely return, everything about this place is fantastic."

"This hotel had a water main break 5 months ago and the hotel is a disaster. There is no carpet on the first floor, the pool and amenities don’t work and they can only serve a minimal breakfast. Simple things like an ice machine which has nothing to do with the water main break didn’t work. I’m amazed this hotel is allowed to be open given the conditions. Our room was clean so at least that felt safe."
