Great convenient location

A compact property, but had everything we required for a very pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very good. A great location for visiting the University, bus stop right outside. In easy reach of restaurants. We stayed over weekend and parking is free 200 yards away.

Excellent staff and breakfasts.

The best part of staying here we’re the wonderful staff from the front desk to the dining area. All very kind and helpful. plus the terrific breakfasts. Rooms kind of cramped but worth the inexpensive price. Also good location.

Simple but provided all that was necessary. Near the downtown. Free parking provided a few minutes walk from the property but free street parking in front of the hotel can be used on a short term basis. Breakfast is extra. Staff was helpful.

Stayed several days. Staff are very pleasant & helpful and speak English. Hotel location excellent for seeing Coimbra! Bus stop right outside the door including the bus to take you to the University which is on top of a very, very steep hill! Loved that there were very good restaurants literally just outside the door to the hotel! Breakfast is exceptional!!

Very close to Santa Clara Bridge and Coimbra historic city centre, about 5 min. walking. You can park nearby, public parking either paid or free parking on the street beside "Portugal dos Pequenitos". Staff was correct and polite, we'd suggest to improve or a bit more variety on the breakfast, otherwise everything was good considering the location and service provided.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite that was as spacious as it was luxurious. We had a very comfortable king sized bed, heat and air conditioning, full kitchen and living room. An added bonus was the washing machine! The hotel is very clean and the breakfast was very good. There is a lovely patio in the back where you can enjoy breakfast in warm weather. The property also includes a common area that looked quite inviting. We peaked into a double room that we had originally booked and while obviously smaller, it looked very inviting. Would definitely stay again.

Decent for the price by generally lacking

The room was large and clean. The bathroom was rather tiny and tight. The bed was comfortable. They only have double beds at the hotels and I think it's a missed opportunity as the rooms are quite large and can easily accommodate executive double or king. The room did miss few key items such as a coffee machine and safe. The room also didn't have any water bottles of cups.

Great staff at a fine hotel on Mondego River

Staff were lovely. Stored medication in refrigerator. Helped us get Ubers and the correct Ecobus which stops right outside the hotel and goes up the hill to the university for two euros per person. The suites are between a great restaurant, Don Taska, and a delicious gelateria. Would return in a heartbeat! Obrigada!
