Santa Cruz Plaza

"We stayed at Hotel Santa Cruz Plaza for five days with our family over the Chilean Independence Day holidays, and breakfast quickly became one of our favourite moments of the day. I’ve travelled to more than 60 countries, stayed in many hotels around the world and done several cruises, and this is honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. There is a fantastic variety of traditional Chilean and countryside-style food, fresh fruit, great coffee and something for everyone, including the kids. I even brought my portable espresso machine with me, but never needed to use it! What we enjoyed most was the warm and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were always friendly, the food felt genuinely local, and sitting together over a great breakfast was a lovely way to start each day of our family holiday. A wonderful surprise and definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Santa Cruz. We’ll remember it very fondly!"

"Sofia, Rodrigo, Matteo, Benjamin, Claudio, Chef Camillo, Javier and Fernanda were absolutely the highlight of our stay in terms of kind and genuine staff members. They truly exemplified hospitality. Food quality was excellent. Chef Camillo was truly world-class, amazing attention to detail and truly understands farm to table. Carolina Ruiz from guest services, was dismissive and wasn’t knowledgeable. Hospitality management seemed lacking as she was very defensive and aloof, she wanted to just end the conversation or questions and move on to other things. Limited amenities in the room, no shower caps, vanity amenities, etc. Sauna wasn’t open even though the website said it is finished in 2025. Default wine at every meal was rose… literally rose all day."

"The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the local restaurants and wineries. The room has a balcony which was fabulous. Properly was well maintained and beautiful. Definitely would come back to this property."

"Excelente y original experiencia boutique Una propuesta realmente innovadora. Se trata de un hotel boutique hermoso cuyas habitaciones están acondicionadas dentro de barricas de roble, muy bien adaptadas y acogedoras. Como sugerencia de mejora, creo que a las habitaciones más grandes les vendría muy bien incluir un perchero y una pequeña mesa con dos sillas para mayor comodidad. Asimismo, en el baño eché de menos una mejor iluminación en el área del espejo. Por lo demás, todo fenomenal. El personal es sumamente amable y siempre está atento a cualquier necesidad. ¡Regresaría sin dudarlo!"
