This 400 SQFT studio has been designed to provide you with the comforts of an entire home with many eco-friendly features. It is a fusion of convenience and quiet within a natural setting. It was built to incorporate rustic, organic elements with contemporary features and to complement the surrounding Vermont beauty. Enjoy a view of the secluded backyard canopy from the back deck, or soak up the afternoon sun while feeling the breeze from the large front windows.

This cozy oasis includes a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a tranquil and open bedroom, a full bathroom, a heat pump, an electric fireplace, a private deck, and an entrance. It also has a washer, dryer, Wi-Fi, and a great couch to lounge on! There is even an outdoor storage space. Enjoy the open, tiled shower with a rain bath fixture and custom lighting options throughout the space. Be prepared to relax!

We are located one mile from bars, restaurants, and the nightlife of Winooski, but also only three miles from downtown Burlington. In addition, Bayside Beach in Malletts Bay is just three miles to the North where you can rent paddle boards, kayaks, and pedal boats during the summer months. It is a short drive from The University of Vermont, Saint Michael’s College, the Burlington Airport, and a half-hour from some of New England's best skiing.

Enjoy the full comforts of your studio apartment with an outdoor porch seating area and a large backyard, perfect for picnics or afternoon bird watching! We live on the property in the main house with our 9 year old miniature doxy-poo and are always available if needed!

**We are located in the Airport flight track, which means planes are often passing over us throughout the day and F35 training flights pass over us on a weekly but inconsistent basis. **

Winooski good location north of Burlington for a long weekend with some good restaurants and coffee shop. Convenient to bikeways in area. Airport close by might be a bit noisy for some folks.

My daughter and I enjoyed a relaxing stay at this lovely cozy carriage house. Even though the footprint was small, it was carefully designed with full sized appliances and all the comforts of home. The bathroom was spacious and loved all the natural light. We’re excited to be going back in a few weeks and spending the Christmas holidays at this welcoming retreat.

Wonderful stay

The owners have done a wonderful job renovating this property. It is a lovely studio with top of the line refinishing and appliances, including a washer and dryer, which was a treat. Nice quiet neighborhood and close enough to everything.

Keeping this one in mind

Lots of little details went into making this a very functional and inviting space. It was clean, quiet, private, and had everything I needed to feel at home. It was easy to get to surrounding towns from this location. The hosts were great with communication and had good recommendations for local food. I would absolutely stay here again.

Quiet respite

The carriage house did not dissappoint. The location was a little off the beaten path but certainly close to everything burlington and the surrounding area has to offer. The back/front has a nice deck overlooking a yard and garden which was great place to wind down at night.

An Awesome Space for Two!

This is a really well-designed space with everything we needed for a pleasant stay in Vermont! A terrific design. We loved having all the amenities such as washer/dryer, stove, oven, full size fridge. The bed is comfy and the fireplace added a nice ambiance. Surprisingly lots of storage space as well. Chris is a great host and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Shelter From The Storm

We spent more time at the property than we normally would as our visit coincided with record rain and flooding in northern Vermont. We found the carriage house to be cozy, well kept and comfortable for our stay. We would definitely do it again if our wandering brought us back for another visit in the Burlington area.

Early autumn visit

We were so grateful to enjoy a few nights in this gem of a place just north of Burlington after being on the road for several weeks. Perfect Little Spot

My friend and I stayed in this adorable little studio for a few days for a girl’s trip to Burlington! It was so close to everything we wanted to visit/see, and a perfect spot to hang out in the evening to visit! The space was so well done, with everything you could need! There was a binder with food suggestions and how to use things in the apartment, with a nice little note from the family about the property.. a perfect touch since we had never been to Burlington before! Overall, I can’t think of one thing this place was missing! Would definitely recommend this place to others!
