The home is pretty small—great for two or three with very little play area inside for kids—but there are several great outside areas on the deck, around the pool and stream. In terms of accessibility, three steps up to the doorway, a step down to the master bedroom and a step up to the ensuite master bath."

"Four friends had a wonderful time at Black Walnut Tree Farm. The space was amazing! There was plenty of spaces that we could hang out together, but also we each had areas that we could retreat to. The kitchen was well-stocked ands spacious, the large living room had many comfortable seats around the fire, and there was a great sunroom where we could sit and play games. The grounds were huge and one could easily get lost walking around the property. We all loved the place and are collectively...

"This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby."

"We stayed here for 2 nights for college moveout and graduation. This house is wonderful. It is very clean and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The rooms are spacious, the beds, couches, and other furniture are comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook and serve food for the whole family. The back patio, with a hot tub, seating area, and lovely outdoor shower, is private. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We would happily stay here again."

"Our group of 4 couples enjoyed our stay. It is pet friendly and some in our group did have allergies to the previous pet dander. It was generally clean but needed an air purifier for previous smells like cigarettes not an air freshener. The oven and stove were not very user friendly but we did eventually figure it out. Overall it is a nice home and was a good size for our group."

"Overall we had a nice stay but there are a few things that future guests should be aware of and some improvements I feel are needed to make the stay more comfortable. Pros: The house was very clean. Beds are very comfortable!! Rooms are a good size and the living room had a cozy fireplace with blankets for many to enjoy. Updates to the kitchen and bathrooms were modern and nice. Kitchen has many pots and pans and cooking utensils stocked and there is a K cup coffee maker and a regular one...
