We enjoyed our stay. Very roomy and cozy. I loved the woodstove. The stream was great to walk and fish! The location is very convenient to town less than 5 minutes. We would definitely stay again.
Beautiful property and home! It deserves ten stars! This is the second time my family has stayed here and loved every minute of it! This home has all you need and many extras!!! Will definitely stay here again.
We went to New Hampshire for a Labor Day weekend quad trip. It did not disappoint. The accommodations were great. The cabin was very nice. No complaints. Will be going there again.
Our family (5 adults; 2 children) had a great time at this cozy and comfortable cabin on Sims Stream. The cabin was very comfortable and had enough room to accommodate our extended family. The cabin is close to town and the road but feels very secluded and there is plenty of room for the kids to play outside. We enjoyed every minute and look forward to returning in the future.
We stayed during peak foliage weekend and found the property and home perfect for our weekend. The riverside location was picturesque and the address was close to the ATV rentals in Colebrook. Our time at the cabin was enjoyable, front porch rocking, wading in the river, and relaxing in the cozy ambiance of the cabin. Would definitely come back again!
Wow...hidden gem. Literally. When you picture a place in northern New England to rent...this is it every time. Listening to that stream at night...o boy...Thank you!
The creek is magical! Love the yard...our pup had so much fun "chasing" chipmunks who made a game of keeping just ahead of her. The back porch is the best place to chill and listen to the water. Such a charming cabin with matching North Country decor. The owner is friendly and quick to respond. This will continue to be our "go to" when traveling to the Colebrook area.
the place was beautiful, plenty of room, beautiful view. Just perfect!
We had our daughter's wedding at Mohawk Falls, and we were just miles away. It made the perfect "girls and bride getting ready", flower delivery..all was just perfect. The wedding photographer was amazed at the backdrops for the pictures along the stream. Can't wait to see the pictures. Awesome time for all. Just Perfect.
There was 5 of us that went for a weekend to this wonderful house. We all snowmobile and it was so convenient having the trail close by.
Very comfortable relaxing at night in this cozy well loved home.
Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
This is a lovely cabin in a beautiful setting! The yard and stream are very kid and dog friendly. The cabin is super cute, warm, inviting and with beautiful views. Really liked the area and Dixville Notch State Park! The cabin is quiet and private and has everything you may need. The owners are nice and welcoming, easily accessible via text.
We stayed for two nights and only left to get items we needed. There is no reason to leave the property other than that. It is SO relaxing, so beautiful that pictures just do not do it justice. Three kids and my fur baby loved love loved it! Four of us adults enjoyed it as well- it is a must see. Jean is so responsive as well with any questions you may have and very accommodating!
We loved this property! It was very private, great if you have pets- our 2 dogs loved it. The cabin itself was very clean, really cute & had everything we needed. It is right by this beautiful stream & surrounded by trees and nature. Perfect place to unwind for a few days! We would love to go back.
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin and loved that we could bring our dog Bowie with us. The cabin was clean, well cared for, and had almost everything you need. The yard is spacious and open, with a brook that is just steps away from the house. We loved getting up and having coffee on the porch, overlooking the brook! We spent a lot of time at the Connecticut lakes swimming and kayaking during the day, just an hour away, and then would come back and have a fire in the firepit while we listened to the brook. There is a grocery store, pharmacy, and restaurants a few minutes from the cabin. ...very convenient. We would definitely rent this cabin again. Sandy and Stephen
We had a great time while staying at this house. It is very private and relaxing. We enjoyed splashing in the water and fishing during the day (though couldn't catch any fish from the backyard) and fire and playing laser tag in their big yard at night. We saw bunch of fireflies too. It was rainy at times but we just read, knitted, and played games and that was also nice. Sitting on the porch while listening to the river and rain was also my favorite part. Kitchen has pretty much everything you need to cook a full meal. We had some issues with propane being empty and such but they were resolved by great communication with the owner. One thing that can be improved is to have more lights in the living room. It was pretty dark and hard to read in the living room at night. Overall we had a great time in this house!
