"Bluebell cottage is a great getaway to relax and recharge. The views over the countryside and out to sea are marvellous. Loved having breakfast on the balcony. The cottage lacks nothing except blackout curtains so bring an eye mask if you want to wake later than the sun. (Yes I was lucky and got sun and blue sky!). "The property was freezing cold when we arrived and hadn't been prepared at all. The bedding wasn't clean, there were sheets drying over furniture, the dishwasher was full of pots, pans and crockery and the floors were dirty. The TV didn't work properly either. Worst of all, because no one had bothered to check, there was no oil in tank so we had no heating or hot water for 3.5 days of a 5 day break. Helloguest, the managing company, were absolutely useless and didn't do what any decent company...

"Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We had wet windy weather but in a good summer the view and location would be spectacular. There was a problem with the hot water while we were there but host gave us generous compensation. Minor quibbles would be needing some more coathangers and some written instructions about heating, bins etc."

"This home is beautiful and has a cozy conservatory! Our party of 6 was comfortable and loved our stay. We wish we'd been able to stay more than one night. The host was friendly and welcoming. The only issue at all was some hair in the tub, which we didn't use."
