Halcyon was completed in 2011 and is situated adjacent to the beach access path. The sight and sound of the ocean will soothe your soul. Meanwhile, Freycinet National Park, wineries, fishing, kayaking and golf are all at your doorstep.

Fantastic location at Coles Bay

Really lovely house with all amenities. Great location with fabulous beach views for miles. Highlight - watching albatross directly off the coast from the balcony. This property has everything you could need. Recommend a short drive to Geographe for a coffee or pizza Thanks

Absolute perfection at Halcyon House, Coles Bay! We had the most incredible stay at Halcyon House. The property manager was outstanding from start to finish — excellent communication, super responsive, and genuinely warm and helpful. It made everything effortless. The house itself is stunning. It sits right on the ocean, so you wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It’s incredibly peaceful and private — the perfect escape. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, and the layout is spacious with three big bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king bed and a spectacular ensuite with a breathtaking view over the beach. The second bedroom with the queen bed also looks straight out to the water. Access to the beach is really easy, and we loved spending time on the big deck soaking in the views. The sunsets from the house are simply unforgettable — every evening felt magical watching the sky change over the water. I can’t recommend Halcyon House highly enough. Beautiful home, amazing views, total tranquility, and a fantastic property manager. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Fantastic stay!

An absolutely amazing property that is better in real life than the photos. The place is great and conveniently located with everything you need. The views are absolutely stunning both during the day with the beach and during the night with the star-filled sky. I highly recommend for a stay in Coles Bay.

Stunning house and view

Perfect house for a family stay with the most beautiful view. We loved the space and comfort of this beautiful home. We were awestruck upon opening the front door and the natural beauty never disappointed. Would definitely recommend this gorgeous house.

Awesome Sea View Luxury House

Love this property - it has one of the best sea view in the area, nice contemporary deco, good kitchen with open plan and just great view all around. The area is also very quiet, just a short 7 mins drive to town and can get to the beach easily. Freycinet Holiday Houses is very responsive to our queries and supportive to our needs, thank you.

Spectacular house spectacular scenery

This house is amazing, perched above the sea with the house built for the views. We loved the architecture and the general comforts except the open bathroom plan with the main bedroom is not what i would put in my own house!

Spectacular view and wonderful location

Halcyon is located in beautiful Swanwick near Coles Bay in the Freycinet National Park. The accommodation sits perched at the top of the street overlooking the magnificent Oyster Bay. The view through the floor to ceiling glass which is right across the span of the main living space is truly breathtaking. The view looks out to Oyster Bay with Sandpiper beach just a short walk from the house. The view takes in Dolphin Sands and Swansea in the distance, with a clear day giving you a view of Maria Island further down the East Coast. The open fireplace sits in the middle of the huge expanse of glass so you can enjoy both the view of the crackling fire and the scenery without turning your head. The house is equipped with a large kitchen and 3 bedrooms with large beds. The 2 main bedrooms also take in the beautiful view through floor to ceiling glass, with an ensuite to the main bedroom equipped with a double vanity, toilet and shower. The house also has a formal dining area, laundry and second bathroom. The deck outside spans the length of the main living and main bedroom. The other main bedroom also has a deck of its own. There is a fire pit on the deck out the front of the house with some built in seating. The house also comes with a double garage, and plenty of sealed driveway for parking off street. Swanwick is a short drive from the main township of Coles Bay which offers lots of activities including bush walks, kayaking, Wineglass Bay Boat Cruise, Quad Biking and some favourite eateries such as Geographe which caters for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner...fabulous pizza...right next door is the IceCreamery which also caters for Hot Chips, Fish & Chips, Hot Dogs and of course..beautiful Icecream. There is a convenience store across the road from the eateries for your grocery needs. The town also has a Tavern, Garage, Bakery and some other small stores. There is also the opportunity to take scenic flights and a water taxi that you can take out to Hazards beach. Do yourself a favour and come and enjoy all this wonderful area has to offer.

This house is exactly as shown on the website, beautifully presented , very comfortable and with everything you need. The short walk to the beach is steep but not difficult. Lovely!!

Long awaited getaway

We chose Halcyon for a mini-break without the kids and it was really lovely. The house is fresh, clean and designed really nicely - and the views are just too amazing for words. It was a real "treat yourself" type trip for us. Our only drawback is that we couldn't block out the light in the mornings so we didn't really get the kid-free sleep in we had imagined but we still enjoyed every minute.

Halcyon was a beautiful house with everything we could want. It was exactly as shown on the photos, a short, steep walk to the gorgeous beach and a short drive to local shops, walks, wineries etc. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely breathtaking

We had the pleasure of staying 2 nights at Haycyon for our 20th wedding anniversary. The photos do not do this place justice. The house is nothing short of amazing, everything has been thought of, and the views are beautiful. Close to the National Park and highly recommend lunch at the Freycinet Marine Farm. Truly magical stay and sad to say goodbye

Must Go - fantastic accommodation

We had a fantastic experience at Halcyon house. Its very well appointed, clean & comfortable with the most amazing panoramic water views. The kitchen is well equipped for groups and the champagne & chocolates on arrival was a lovely touch. The house is centrally located with a short drive to the town for groceries, coffee & lovely walks. Highly recommend. Only additions to the house would be Bluetooth speakers for music & 3pm check out :)
