"While the hotel is centrally located to many walking distance attractions, the hotel check in was awkward. The “bar” was set to open in a few days. That was the reception area. No lights were on. When the hostess walked us up to the room, the hallways were unlit as well. The room was small with not many areas to unpack your bags. On a positive note, the AC was cool enough. The bathroom door never really closed well without slamming it. Also the shower never got really hot. The water stayed lukewarm. Since the hotel was above a couple of bars, the noise at night was extremely loud. My partner had to resort to stuffing his ears with cotton balls. He complained about the noise and said he couldn’t get any rest. I suggest they leave earplugs. We stayed during the week so we expected a little bit of quiet but the live rock bands were going until 2 am every night. "
