This really is a beautiful gite. The standard of quality is really high. The bed was super comfy, everything in the gite worked perfectly and was spotlessly clean and modern. The patio was so pretty and ideal for food and drinks.it’s the ideal location for exploring the Normandy beaches. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here you won’t regret it

Gite Èpervier, a wonderful place for explorations

We had wonderful holidays im Gite Èpervier. The holiday home is typical of the region, nicely furnished and well maintained. It is in a large orchard. A few meters and curves away from the D514, which is certainly true. The owner David is very friendly and pleasantly reserved. The location is ideal for exploring this part of Normandy, the Omaha Beach and Utah Beach. We had a wonderful week. The mixed weather was contemporary in our opinion.

Schöne Unterkunft

Die Bilder geben exakt den Zustand der Unterkunft wieder. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir freundlich empfangen und eingewiesen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, genau so wie die gesamte Umgebung auf dem Grundstück. Außergewöhnlich fanden wir, dass wir wirklich alle deutschen Fernsehprogramme empfangen konnten. Der Bäckerservice (Mittwochs - bis Sonntags) klappte sehr gut, und die Lebensmittel die David anbietet können wir auch sehr empfehlen. Wer allerdings die obere Etage nutzen möchte, muss gut zu fuß sein. Runter kommt man eigentlich nur rückwärts. In der direkten Umgebung gibt es viel zu sehen - vor allem geschichtlicher Natur. Zum Strand kann man gut zu fuß gehen (20 Minuten) . Überhaupt sind eigentlich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Zu unserer Reisezeit haben wir nur leere Straßen gehabt (April, Mai). Nun bleibt uns nur noch unseren Dank an den Vermieter auszurichten. Christian & Katharina

L'hébergement est très propre, très bien équipé, spacieux et lumineux.L'exterieur est vaste est très bien entretenu, une petite terrasse et des transats sont à disposition pour du repos dehors. Le lieu est parfait si on veut aller à la plage et aussi parfait pour visiter les musées du DDay. Le port de pêche est à quelques kms. La voiture peut être indispensable. L'hôte est très accueillant et à l'écoute. Nous éspèrons revenir dans ce coin tranquille.Merci

Grandiose Umgebung, schönes Haus aber Aufpassen beim check in und check out

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in beeindruckender Landschaft sehr genossen. Allerdings: Nachdem wir abgereist waren, bekamen wir 8 Stunden später, vom Vermieter, der unmmittelbar neben dem Ferienhaus wohnt, ein whattsapp Info, dass wir auf dem Teppich im Wohnzimmer einen Fleck hinterlassen hätten und für die Reinigungskosten er uns separat einen Betrag von 50 EUR belastet. Unserem Argument, dass dieser Fleck und andere Gebrauchsspuren, wir z.B. Schimmel im Duschbecken, bereits vorhanden waren und wir, da wir diese "Mängel" als üblich bei der Fewo, die schon längere Zeit vermietet wird,ansehen und ihm daher nicht gemeldet haben, wollte er sich nicht anschließen. Stattdessen hat er uns dann noch vorgeworfen, wir die Kaffeemaschine nicht gereinigt haben (stimmt, haben wir garnicht benutzt), eine Wellhornschnecke in der Spülmaschine war (das kann sein, können wir uns nur entschuldigen), wir Möbel umgestellt hätten (stimmt, 2 Stühle, die wir evtl. nicht wieder in den richtigen Raum aus Unkenntnis geräumt haben und ein Sitzregal in der Dusche haben wir an eine andere Wand gestellt und wirklich nicht zurückgeschoben.) Um uns unseren gesamten 5 wöchigen Urlaub (davon 1 Woche in Colleville) nicht zu verderben und da alle anderen Vermieter mit uns keine Probleme hatten, haben wir die Zahlung ohne noch weitere Kommunikation / Diskussion akzeptiert.

Aangenaam verblijf in de appelboomgaard

We hadden een aangenaam verblijf in Colleville sur Mer. Accomodatie in het verblijf is heel goed. Veel te zien in de omgeving en het verblijf is heel rustig maar zeer nabij verschillende bezienswaardigheden o.a. Amerikaans kerkhof, Overlord museum. Lekker vers gemaakt appelsap van de eigenaar David.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen in dieser Unterkunft genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Lage ist sehr gut. An das Haus schließt sich der große Garten an. Zum Einkauf und für den täglichen Besuch beim Bäcker haben wir uns nach Port-en-Bessin orientiert. Sind mit dem Auto (oder über den Küstenradweg) ca. 8km. Auch sind viele Sehenswürdigkeit von der Unterkunft aus per Fahrrad oder Auto zu erreichen.

Séjour très agréable

Séjour très agréable, dans un endroit paisible, verdoyant, et un gite très bien équipé. Gite idéalement situé comme point de départ pour explorer le thème du débarquement : Omaha Beach, le cimetière américain, Arromanches, la Pointe du Hoc, le cimetière allememand de La Cambe, mais aussi Port en Bessin, Bayeux, et Isigny Ste Mère (les glaces y sont à tomber). Sans oublier les falaise de Ste Honorine Les Pertes, et la chapelle St Siméon. Tous ces lieux sont accessibles en peu de temps en voiture. Lors de notre séjour nous avons poussé jusqu'au Mont St Michel plus loin mais (1h30 aller) incontournable. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et serviables. N'hésitez pas non plus à dévouvrir sa production de jus de pommes, cidre, pommeau, calvados.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus auf einem traumhaft schönen Grundstück

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen, landestypischen Ferienhaus. Das Haus war perfekt ausgestattet und wir haben nichts vermisst. Schöne ländliche Umgebung. Auch das Ferienhaus liegt idylisch zwischen zwei Wiesen mit Apfelbäumen. Landungsstrand, Gedenkstätte und Museum sind direkt in der Nähe. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in einem wirklich tollen Ferienhaus. Die Lage ist super ruhig, inmitten von Obstwiesen. Wunderschöne Terrasse. Man kann hier wirklich gut entspannen. Mit dem Rad sind es nur ein paar Minuten zum Strand und zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Zeit.

Gite très agréable et très calme à 2 pas du cimetière américain. Idéalement situé pour les plages du débarquement (Omaha, Utah, Ste Mère l'Eglise,...) mais également pour découvrir le cotentin et ses merveilles (Ile de Tatihou, Carentan, Cherbourg,..). Gentillesse (et cidre) à notre arrivée nous ont mis dans une très belle ambiance pour ces vacances familliales.

Wunderbare Woche

Sehr schönes kleines Haus, ideal für vier Personen, sehr ruhig und zentral in der "Mitte" der Landungsstrände gelegen. Umgeben von einer sehr großen Wiese mit Apfel- und Birnbäumen. Der sehr nette Vermieter David in unmittelbarer Nähe immer hilfsbereit.

Des vacances au calme dans un endroit accueillant

Nous avons passé une belle semaine, dans ce joli gîte entouré d'un immense verger, donnant la possibilité aux enfants de jouer. Unvergessliche Woche in der Normandie

Alles war wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben, der Empfang herzlich, eine Flasche Cidre von eigenem Anbau zum Probieren. Das Haus steht inmitten von Apfelbaumwiesen, total ruhig, schöne Terrasse uns fehlte es an Nichts.
