Excellent gateway to Phantasialand
Outstanding experience, an absolute delight. Clean, comfortable, great shower, wonderful breakfast, very convenient for a visit to Phantasialand.

The property it’s self was nice. Most of the staff was nice but when told them about the problems I had with the late check in the hotel ie I couldn’t get the key from the key box in the middle of the night. Forcing me to rent another room. The clerk was unhelpful. Granted I understand that she probably has no way to refund a night, but that is no excuse on finding someone who can. It’s really infuriating to deal with such inflexibility when your business is hospitality.

A complete package for a quick stop over!
It was a quick stop over during our business trip and I must say a good choice. Parking was free at hotel, breakfast was really good with wide variety of good quality products and the best thing was their coffee (cappuccino). The guy at reception was very pleasant and helpful. I recommend this hotel for a short stay specially on business trip and the only down side is that it’s but away from Cologne centre ... though for us this was actually a requirement r set o negative for us 😊

The hotel was in good area, the breakfast buffet was good. You can easily get a bus to Köln station from there.

Terrible experience
We arrived around 10:30pm and found no one. There was instructions on the door on how to get the keys on the box just outside the hotel. We followed the instructions but there was no key. Some men who are staying in the hotel even helped us but nothing worked. They were very kind to offer a mattress for us but we decided to go to another hotel because we travelled about 8 hrs to get there. And we have a disabled child with metabolic conditon. Very sad experience it was!

One night on route to romantic road
Stopped here on route to romantic road, staff brilliant, bar great nice Italian locally. Staff let us have breakfast even though we had timings wrong would stay again but would ask for another pillow 😀

This was a reasonably priced hotel with good facilities, tucked away in the town. It was clean and provided an excellent breakfast for 4 travelling motorcyclists all well over 60 years of age

Nice smaller Hotel Very friendly and helpful staff Nice Breakfast Everything was very clean and pleasant could use air conditioning or a fan although I realize Germans don't really go for those things

My stay was terrible. The rooms were dirty and small, the wifi was terrible it wouldn't work anywhere which was very bad for me because I needed the signal and wifi for stuff at home but it didn't work. there was no fridge or safe box. The breakfast was really bad. The one good thing was that the staff were Lovely.

Has the best Wifi here. they even have a self Wifi connector in room. Breakfast was awesome. more choices than any other hotel i had stayed in germany. Room is huge. furnitures are old but i dont care. Free parking everywhere. 10 mins drive to downtown Köln.

Fantastic hotel
The hotel is fantastic. It deserves every cent I paid. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was so modern that I felt that I am staying at five star hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so delicious with many options. Also the hotel was silent and surrounding is green with bird songs. I will definitely stay here again if I go to Koln again.

Pleasant stay
It was a pleasant stay for one night not far from the Cologne. Hotel is close to the highway, so it was easy to reach it. From the first sight you can notice that the hotel is not new, but it's clean, provides free wi-fi, breakfast and parking and it's cheap. As a small negative point I can add only that the heating is off during the night. When we came back to our room late in the night we noticed that we left the window open, so it was a bit chilly there. The heating started up only in the morning, but anyway it wasn't that cold that day and we slept well.

Good friendly service, clean and tidy. The hotel has planty of airy space and restaurant was really well presented. The food was very well presented to with alot of effort made for it to look good. My only minor complaint was the pillows in the bedroom were too soft and uncomfortable. However I would recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Good budget hotel if the location works for you
The room was large with minimal furniture, so there was plenty of space. Condition and cleanliness of the room was good. I did not see and air conditioning unit, but that could be a factor only during the peak of summer. The motel is somewhat inconveniently located - the nearest exit from the autobahn is a couple km to the south and then you need to backtrack through the town and its narrow road. The hotel is off the main road - be sure to have good directions. But if the location works for you, this is a good budget motel.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is too far from public transport. Being a vegetarian, I did not like the meat next to the cheese or mixed with eggs.

Good stay to visit Cologne
Booked thru Expedia for a short break to viit the Cologne Christmas markets, a little out of the city but OK really pleasant stay, breakfast and facilities good would stay again

Cheap and clean but some distance from city centre
Room was basic, but clean and it was cheap compared to other locations in Cologne. Reception staff had basic command of English. Location is somewhat isolated. Need to ensure you book a taxi at least 15 to 20 minutes before you need it and it will cost about 25 Euros to get you to the city centre. Street was a little hard to find, so don't try to find the street in a Sat Nav as a street in Cologne because it doesn't work as the hotel is actually in the village of Gleuel. Breakfast was good and a great way to start the day and free WiFi is a must nowadays.

Dicht gelegen bij Phantasialand, dus een plus... Gelegen in industriegebied, dus geen mooie omgeving voor meerdere dagen. Zeer onvriendelijk dame van de keuken. Ontbijtbuffet werd met morrend protest continue 'goed' gezet omdat de gasten niet alles precies terug legden... (bv een vork die omgekeerd gelegd werd bij de kaas...) Dan ook bij vertrek van ontbijt zeer onvriendelijke opmerking van dezelfde dame dat we één suiker sandwich niet opgegeten was die we per abuis genomen hadden ipv een croissant. Dit terwijl we al de rest netjes hadden opgegeten en de tafel proper achter lieten. Keukenpersoneel kan dus heel veel beter... Daar moet men intern toch eens over spreken. Onacceptabel om als gast zo behandeld te worden...
