Fine hotel for overnight stay, but parking
The hotel was fine for a one night stay. The staff were friendly and the room was overall good and clean. The parking is however not "under" or "close" to the hotel. It is maybe 5 minutes walk and not that easy to find the first time. 5 Minutes is not a long time, but there was no elevator in the parking garage, so there was a lot of activity in actually getting our things into the hotel.

Very small room. Noise of traffic very loud.
I come in october 2022 and we stay 3 nights. The room rate was expensive because there are 3 exhibition around the city...the room is very small, no AC so we have to open the window and the traffic is so busy and very loud till midnight and more. Can not sleep well because of the traffic noise.

Great hotel! Really friendly staff, nice design. Room was basic but very clean and comfortable, good bathroom. The location is great, close enough to the centre to pop back if you get tired

Located in a nice area with many restaurants. Perfect for a business trip. Breaksfast was good. Bar was good as well. Sound insulation is very good

Its a basic cheap room
This hotel is ok. The bed was pretty bad. Slanted sleeping, so we both ended up with neck pain. The tv is so old or cheap didnt even have hd. It was clean and the people who work there are helpful. Wouldn't likely want to stay again due to the beds.

Very good, well-designed budget hotel
Very convenient to Media Park and easy reach to the rest of central Cologne. Motel One is a good mix of well-designed comfort while still being very efficient and affordable. I think it's a very good, predictable and enjoyable choice.

Nice, clean, pleasant hotel
It was a very nice, clean hotel with nice staff. But it was hot, and though they had A/C (unlike some hotels in the area), it left a lot to be desired.

Excellent, sleek, design-oriented yet affordable
I've stayed at this hotel several times. I like the modern yet inexpensive concept of Motel One, so this resembles others I've stayed in. Very nice and proactively friendly reception (giving me a towel to dry off after I checked in wet from a rainy day), modern and simple but yet very nice rooms, a nice breakfast, and great price. I'm happier staying here than at many hotels charging even €50 more or so per night!

Small, but clean, nice, well-designed.
I would totally recommend this hotel except that the internet was TERRIBLE! Often could not get online at all. In fact, it never worked properly during my four day stay. Clever design, very space efficient, very clean, nice sheets, good bed. Fireplace video on the TV fun. No telephone in room, but was not a problem - used my cellphone to call the front desk. Double room great for one person; better really like each other and not have too much stuff if there are two of you.

Strongly recommended!
Excellent value for money; modern, well-designed rooms, nice touch with the fireplace TV channel when you arrive, nice bar/lounge/lobby, silent rooms. Hotels costing twice as much often feel worse than this. I would happily go back again. Very strongly recommend!

Quiet and modern hotel 1.4km from the HBF.
We stayed here for 3 nights. The foyer is modern with vibrant, brightly coloured decor. Checkin and check out staff were friendly and efficient. The room is a little small for two people with a suitcase each. There is not much room to comfortably open the suitcases and still give ample room to walk past. The room could be improved if there was a small refrigerator and electric jug/kettle for coffee/tea making, but that is not essential. The wifi was fast, and included in the price. The hotel room was quiet and we did not hear any noise from the street. The hotel is 1.4km from the central train station, and is an easy, convenient walk to the main train station and the beautiful old town.

We spent an overnight in Koeln. We were looking for a hotel near the Dom and museums, and found a good one. The only thing not perfect was the lack of a grocery store nearby.

No frills luxury
Very good location for working in Mediapark and a short walk to the Dom and Altstadt. Really good concept, has everything you need without having to charge extra for all the extra stuff hotels sometimes unnecessarily provide.

Even better than I had hoped!
This is a real gem in Cologne and I would highly recommend you try it out. I spent three nights at the hotel on a solo getaway and found the staff, the facilities and location to meet and exceed my expectations. The bed was very comfortable with a well laid out floor plan to maximize the space and the bathroom had good water pressure/flow for a nice refreshing shower. On the sixt floor it had a lovely view over the mediapark and had the nice benefit of being able to open the windows to enjoy fresh air. When closed however they completely removed the sound of passing traffic. The staff were very helpful, fluent in English, smiling and accommodating. The only gripe was that I found the room quite stuffy and had to reduce the temperature considerably to enjoy a night sleep, but this was quite easy to do with the thermostat in the room. Excellent value for money

The hotel is far from the center, in my opinion, the standard room - very small. on the wall above the bed was a lot of dust, no refrigerator in the room. but the staff is helpful and attentive..

Great value
The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the Dom/ city centre. It's very modern and clean, with very nice staff. A slight issue we had was trying to get the room temperature right, but that wasn't a big deal. Lovely shower!

Would definitely recommend
Very nice modern hotel. Everything was very clean, very close to parking, a little bit of a walk only 10-15 mins to the Dom and old town which isn't bad on the way there but if you are walking all day and maybe some shopping walking back just seems like it takes longer. Not a lot of eating choices around the hotel only a couple, going down the the Rhine is where you want to eat anyway much more to choose from. With all that being said I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.
