Perfect for a low budget stay
Great stay, stayed for 4 nights. Was perfect location for a low budget Christmas market hotel. But still only a ten min walk into town. Room felt dated but beds were comfy and room was cleaned every day. Noticed a lot of dust under the bed on the last day though and bed sheets weren’t changed once whilst there but wouldn’t stop us staying again as front desk were friendly and helpful and we loved the location

You can easily get to all attractions simply by walking along the main road from hotel to hauptbahnhof. Hotel service is better than my expectation. However, do expect there would be some noise if your room located next to the stairs. At this price, I am very satisfied with what I have experienced.

The worst hotel I’ve ever spent a night. The room advertised is different than the one offered, it made my experience in Germany very poor. Very rude Staff, apart from a young girl that tried to help us. Very dirty room, dirty sheets, dirty toilet. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a nice stay, but I got miss-informed about the breakfast situation. A Staff member was not up to date on details and caused me a some problems having to call Expedia support and wasting a lot of time.

Thin walls, unprofessional personnel
Rented a single room for one night. As I arrived to the hotel around 2AM had to wait 20min for check-in even though I was the only client at the reception. At that time I was informed in two-times repeated sentences by the personal that the breakfast would be served till 11am, which I was delighted to hear, considering late arrival at the facility. Room was comfortable enough inside, however at 9am I got woken up from noises from a nearby room, as I could hear almost every word from the neighbours' conversation and loud noises from showering. Finally at 10:30am went down for the breakfast and was greatly surprised that to discover it was only served till 10am. On top, the morning staff at the reception gave me a blaming look, as if I was to be blamed for the late arrival. Found it rather unprofessional not even to say sorry for their mistake, moreover to act quite the oposite. Will definitely avoid this facility next time, due to thin walls in the room and high unprofessionalism of the personnel.

Great Location.
Excellent location: easy check in & friendly staff we could walk to the Christmas Markets we could walk to restaurants great breakfast The 2 things that we were not pleased about were: Our room was on 5th floor & the elevator only went to the 4th so we, two people over 66 years of age, had to carry two 20 kg bags up 13 stairs! The other thing that we did not like was the mold in the shower. Despite these two issues we would definitely stay at the hotel - we would just request a room no higher than the 4th.

I spent two nights on a business trip there. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was quite good. The hotel looks dated but it was clean. No AC and the room was quite warm so I needed the window open: this is in a noisy part of town so it was a bit annoying but overall the stay was pleasant.

Too hot...
It was 34 degree weather and no AC or fan available. Needed to wet a towel and cover myself to be able to sleep. Cold showers. Had bought some chocolates, they all melted in the room. Spoke to reception and they said that they have no fans as they have given all out. They could have gone and get some from a store near by. I was tempted to buy for the room... that’s not my responsibility. Overall terrible stay. Would never stay here again or recommend anyone else to stay. Had to book another hotel as it was unbearable here.

Location is good . No English channels on TV only German Tv . They don t have satellite. Door elevator needs fixing. Too noisy when the door close specially at night when you re sleeping . Like an explosion . 4 nights not enough sleep .

Hotel around a 15 mins walk to the Dom, so pretty close to many. However, the room i received was not what was pictured on the website at all. It was a very old and dated room. However, it was clean and had space for a solo traveller to move around in. The door to our hallway of two room however, closes very loudly, so if someone was coming in late or leaving very early, could be disturbing

Everything as expected at this hotel. We had a friendly welcome at the reception desk. The room was comfortable and warm in a relatively quiet area. Breakfast was of a good standard and have a large amount of time to attend. WiFi good and TV worked with no problems.

Great location of a hotel and friendly staff. Let us drop our bags before check in and on the day of check out (due to a late flight). Breakfast was good and what you would expect. There was little noise from the outside area as well as from within the hotel. Only issue would be the lack of pillows, but aparat from that a comfortable stay and what would be expected in the price of the hotel! Value for money based on the location to the centre!
