"This hotel is dated but remains lovely. Beautifully maintained pool, lots of flowers. Be forewarned however, the extra price for resort fee is questionable at best. Three times I was told I could not get a ride because they were too busy. I had to request housecleaning one day more than 3 times, even though I was supposed to automatically receive this every day. I had to ask for coffee in the room twice because it wasn't replaced. The staff were very nice, and I have no complaints with them. The valet service, however, and the housecleaning service, not so much. You pay an extra $60 per day for parking your car there, and another "resort fee" for amenities - not sure what those really are when you can't get a ride to Lionshead, no coffee in the room. There was also an extremely loud air conditioning unit sticking out from the window which ran intermittently during the night (no more than 8 seconds at a time), on and off, on and off."

"The person at the desk in the lobby was able to hold my cold packs in a freezer overnight for me. Thought that was really nice. Got a bottle of some lovely wine with my room. It’s where I stay anytime I’m in Vail for a reason. All this plus hot tub u see the stars at night. I mean come one. Definitely recommend."

"There's really no staff. There's was never anyone there. You get a message with your room number and code. The rooms are very clean and cute. Inside it feels like a cabin. You have everything you need. The only issue was there's no AC and only one fan. They should provide more than one on the Summer."

"The hotel was a good place to stay and was convenient for white water rafting. A number of mosquitoes were outside the hotel. That may be typical of Kremmling in July, but I'm unsure."

"This a very groovy place. It’s almost 125 years old, an old-timey, rustic frontier hotel. The shower had hot water, there is a sitting room for guests, the decor is authentic or tasteful reproductions, fridge and microwave in the room. I loved the place."
