Perfect Quiet Spot
Quiet Spot for the perfect chill spot in paradise. Will probably rent next time im in town if its available. Instructions for everything on fridge with phone numbers in case of issues. Very Professional and chill.

Quiet and peaceful stay…
The property was just as advertised. It works well for a couple, and has pretty much everything you need. The bed was comfortable which of course contributes to a good night’s rest. Mark and Sandy were very nice and very prompt with responding to our questions. Unfortunately we were too on-the-go to enjoy the patio and peaceful backyard. We did have some visitors…a few deer that passed through. We’re always excited to see them as it’s quite normal in Colorado. This property served its purpose for us. We had a nice visit. Thank you Mark and Sandy!

This is a really comfortable 1-bedroom studio. Nicely decorated throughout, with a modern kitchen with all of the amenities needed. Comlete with a private patio where you can enjoy the cool mornings and occasional visits from hummingbirds and deer.

A peaceful place with wildlife right outside the door
We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at this place. The hosts were very caring and accommodating. We enjoyed the bird life we saw around frequently, the precious deer who came through in the mornings/evenings, and a funny fox who jumped in & out of a tree as we were leaving. Everything was nice & well cared for.

Perfect location and very comfortable.
When we first arrived, we were a little concerned because of the high grass that needed mowing. However, we found our accommodations were exactly as advertised. We had everything we needed. It was clean, neat, bed was comfortable. Sandi responded immediately with suggestions of places to visit. We enjoyed our stay very much. We will request this location again when we return to the area.

The place was just as pictured and was very nice and clean. It had everything we wanted or needed, perfect for the two of us. The location was ideal - beautiful views from the patio and close to the springs.

Great Place to Hike! Woodland Park is awesome!
We really enjoy Woodland Park! Wow what a great place to hike! Our Rental in Woodland Park Was incredible, we had everything we needed big kitchen living and sleeping quarters were exceptional!! Little problem I would like to mention Smoke Alarm came on around 4:00 a m wow , that was scary, Right after the Heating Unit started up and the noise was unbearable, not sure why it made that noise? Thank you for this nice clean apartment hopefully we can visit again soon Nice talking to you Mrs DeHaven Greetings Heidi and Anton

Great experience !
Loved our stay. Rental was perfect for us. We especially enjoyed the quiet time outside at dusk. Watching the deer come into the yard and graze was awesome to watch. Great neighborhood as well.

A Peaceful Haven
The property was lovely. Indoors was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we need in regard to appliances, etc... An outdoor patio was a perfect place to sit and watch the deer come into the yard. The owner was easily reached and extremely responsive. A spur of the moment need was met by Sandi with no hesitation. We will absolutely be back next time we are in the area.

Perfect Location
Great 1 bedroom 1 bath rental in the owner's basement. Located at the edge of town, it was very quiet with lots of wildlife roaming the area. The rental is perfect for staying in the mountains while seeing sites in the area like Pike's Peak and Manitou Springs and visiting Colorado Springs.

Vacation Hide-a-way
This one bedroom is located on the back lower level of the owners home with it's own private entrance. We spent several mornings and evenings sipping coffee on the back patio watching the deer that often came to the back yard to graze. The owners are both pleasant and responsive to any requests. We would go back there again.

Nice quiet getaway!
It was exactly as described. Just the right size for a couple looking for peace and quiet. Although most of our excursions were in Colorado Springs, the beautiful mountains and scenery on the road to and from, made our decision to stay at Woodland, the right one.

Watch for damage charges.
I am being charged for damages that we didn't do. Stain on the foldout? Already there. Damaged refrigerator shelf? Not us. Damaged bottom sheet? Seriously? White gummy stuff on the dresser? Not from us. An inspection needs to be done when you enter the place. I wouldn't expect this from honest people.

Our top priority is to have happy guests & these guests were happy with their stay until we charged them a very moderate damage amount for the damages they caused. We work very hard to maintain a clean, a comfortable & functional accommodations for all our guests as you can see by reading our multiple 5 star reviews!

Lovely stay, quiet neighborhood
The property is exactly as listed, clean with all the amenities. The patio area was private and quiet, the perfect spot to watch deer as they move through most mornings and evenings. It's a quiet neighborhood and a quiet little town but close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Mark and Sandi for being such great hosts.

This was a wonderful, quiet, clean, comfortable stay—A perfect quick getaway for us just 30 min from UCCS. Beautiful drive. Beautiful country west of the springs. She was a wonderful host with quick responses to my questions. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place for anyone.

We stayed here during a socially -distanced trip to Colorado. It was close to local amenities, but in a quiet neighborhood away from the highway. Easily accessible walking path. Deer tried to join us for an outdoor lunch. A nice little stop!

Really the only thing we found disconcerting was open the door in the dark. There was no light so we had to use our cell phones to see the key pad.

We are sorry about the light. Please call if that ever happens as we have a sensor light that comes on automatically right by the front door of the entry. Somehow the outside sensor light must have been switched off by accident, we could have resolved that with a phone call to us. We want the best possibly experience and safety for our guests that is why we have 3 seperate sensor lights that automatically come on from the moment you drive up onto our property.

A wonderful place to stay
If you want a quiet, calm, clean place to stay, this is it. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of space between the houses for deer to pass through. It was in a great location- a few miles from town and from hiking trails.

Great place in quiet neighborhood
We were looking for a quiet weekend near hiking and nature and this place was great for us. Check-in was a breeze and the suite was well appointed. Unfortunately, our infant daughter took the occasion of our first weekend away from home in 7 months to begin the process of sprouting 3 teeth and we had to cut our trip short for everyone's sanity. We would certainly consider staying again...sans screaming infant! (sorry!)

Peaceful Respite from 2020 Blues
This VRBO is located in a very peaceful quiet neighborhood. The location was excellent for those getting in their car and sightseeing in a different direction daily. Upon arriving "home" each day the patio is a nice place to sit and watch wildlife as they came into the yard daily. Everything we needed was provided. Thanks so much, we really enjoyed our stay, this was the last area of CO we hadn't explored, couldn't have been better!

Great Location
My wife, son, and I were looking for a place to stay where we could park our trailer with our ATV’s and not be worried about something happening to them. This home was perfect for that. Plenty of room to park the trailer and truck. We were close to several trails and at the end of the day we were able to relax at the property. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Sandy and Mark were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely look them up the next time we visit!

Clean, quiet, and near town
We were first surprised this is a walk-out basement apartment; however, it was very nicely furnished, clean, and in a quiet area. It had all the amenities that the two of us needed during our stay. We had the opportunity to watch a young deer wander through the yard on our first day there. Very cool. The drive to downtown Woodland Park was minimal, and not congested. Sandi stayed in touch to be sure we didn't need anything, and were having a good time. Thank you, Sandi and Mark for allowing us to stay there.
