The Rabbit Hutch is a brand new open concept barndominium home built for hosting, relaxing and gathering with family and friends. It is located in the center of the quaint town of Palmer Lake. Walk to numerous great restaurants, the ice cream shop, a recreational lake, a new train bridge, or trailheads to the National Forest for hiking, fishing and biking . Enjoy hosting in a gourmet kitchen with dual islands, an induction cooktop, and an eat-in bar and spread out into the living, dining and covered patio areas to relax and entertain. Or retreat to the one of the private bedrooms that each have a luxurious king size bed and adjoining modern bathroom. The spacious master suite has a 5 piece master bath with grand walk-in shower, luxurious freestanding soaking tub, dual sinks, and a large walk-in closet.
In this centralized location there is no shortage of great activities and space to get to know this charming small town along the Colorado Front Range. The Rabbit Hutch is 1 hour from DIA, 20 min from The Air Force Academy, and just minutes from two major wedding venues. Everything is new, clean, and ready to be enjoyed!

Upon walking in, you feel how inviting and clean this home is. Awesome grill and plenty of kitchen utensils and a great outdoor space. Thrilled to see a 2nd couch in the living room. We will definitely stay here again. Great location with quaint restaurants and trails in walking distance from home.

Lots of room, nice modern decor, walking distance to restaurant/lake. Would stay again. No A/C but Palmer Lake is pretty high elevation and not as hot as Denver. Fans were provided. We stayed with friends for a wedding and it worked out great.

The Rabbit Hutch is by far the absolute best property that we have ever stayed at! (We rent a vrbo property 2-3 times a year, every year.)
Zach is the most gracious and accommodating host!
The property is well cleaned, well stocked, and updated with the most amazing upgrades. The home is absolutely lovely inside and out.

Perfect get away!
I can’t recommend this place enough! It is absolutely beautiful inside! The owner went to great lengths to thoughtfully provide all of the necessities as well as the extra little luxuries that put this place over the top! Our family was displaced from our home due to a flood and we were grateful for the owner’s communication and helpfulness during our stay that needed extended. Also, the location is in walking distance to hiking trails as well as a coffee shop and restaurants. My kids enjoyed playing at the school across the street. This is the sort of place that you could go to if you were traveling from out of town or just wanted a luxurious staycation! It’s perfect for couples, families, or event parties. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies and the grill and back patio were lovely. The yard is fully fenced, which I appreciated for my kids and the neighbors were so incredibly friendly! Don’t wait to book- this place is a hidden gem!

The Rabbit Hutch is perfect!
We had 6 adults (cousins) gathering here from IL, MO & AZ. Perfect location to nearby sites like Pikes Peak & Garden of the Gods. House is very well equipped & easy access to the property for check in. We highly recommend this VRBO when visiting the Colorado Springs area! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
