3-bedroom family getaway one block from Palmer Lake.

  • Welcome to "Moonshot", as we affectionatley have dubbed our family home in fabulous Palmer Lake. With kids all gone we have taken it down to the studs for a complete renovation so that you can enjoy a peaceful stay in our 3-bedroom basement. The large living room with two big couches, a wood burning stove and new carpet provide a place to hang out together. The "Imagination Station" playroom comes equipped with toys and pillows for kids to play, read and even sleep. Hang outdoors with your crew in the pergola and hottub surrounded by stars and mountains that includes a 60 inch outdoor TV iand a fire table to keep warm no matter the season. A full laundry room and kitchenette with a full size fridge make staying a longer while comfortable.

    The three bedrooms offer plenty of space for guests to relax after a day hiking to the resevoir or playing on the lake. The bathroom features a bathtub and separate shower, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. A wood burning stove helps keep warm and cozy in the winter and Palmer Lake basement stays cool all summer. Whether you’re traveling with family or friends, this superb home provides a comfortable and inviting retreat. Enjoy your time in Palmer Lake with a stay in Moonshot.

We booked this house on short notice to get away for a bit, and it far exceeded our expectations. First off, this was the cleanest vacation rental we have ever set foot in. You can tell real care and quality go into maintaining this home—the space is generous, and the furniture is well-appointed and comfortable.Palmer Lake itself is a gem. We ate at the local spots, took scenic walks around the lake, watched the trains, checked out the shops, and hit the amazing local ice cream shop. The drive in via Highway 105 is gorgeous, and being only 45 minutes from home made it the effortless retreat we needed. A 5-star experience from start to finish!

The hosts and house were amazing! The host was very responsive and helpful! The house was clean and in a great location. The hot tub was also nice to enjoy and hangout as a group. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a chill weekend.
