Short stay

The studio was just as described. It was extremely quiet for being right in downtown. The free parking was a big plus. The Vista and Main Street are just a couple of blocks away. It was the perfect base for a short trip.

Great Downtown Apartment

Apartment is clean. The bed is super comfortable. There were 2 of us staying in room it was okay. However, over 2 may feel crowded. Nicely located. Several resteraunts nearby. Stayed to be able to attend a graduation ceremony at Fort Jackson and base was only about 15 minute drive. Would recommend. Host is very responsive and polite.

perfect stay!

spent two nights here with my partner and it was amazing! the apartment was clean and cozy and it was in the BEST location! was able to walk from the apartment to get breakfast ! absolutely perfect. the check in process wasn’t hard at all and the host made everything organized and easy. :)

Great apartment in perfect location

Check in instructions are very clear. The location is perfectly located in Columbia to go to everything. The apartment itself is great. Nice bed, spacious bathroom. Big enough for two people to brush their teeth and hair at the same time. There is a lot of sunlight. Great for getting up early in the morning.

College visit

My husband and I had a great stay while visiting our daughter at USC. Nice location within walking distance to downtown including the Soda City market on Saturday. The parking might have been confusing but the owner sent detailed instructions including photos so it was very easy. Very clean and affordable compared to the nearby hotels plus a thoughtfully stocked kitchen. We would stay again!

Jelly Roll in Columbia

We had a great night sleep, which was needed. The bed was comfortable. Alot of light though in the vrbo, some people like that but at night it was still like daylight to sleep with all of the outside lighting and no black out shades. It is a tiny space, but all we needed. The hosts were great and helped us to check in early. We are grateful for the stay! Great location! But that rooftop parking, wow that took a long time in and out. Thank you for the parking being free.

Unconventional (you'll either love it or hate it)

Location is A1 (*conditionally) - It's right downtown but slightly off to the side so the urban noise is muted. *Condition covered in a second. Host is A1+. Melissa is as responsive and as positive as one can be. She is a "can do" person and her thoughtfulness is relected in a myriad of ways throughout the suite. Suite itself is a bit rough with semi-finished concrete floors as well as overhead. The loft look might be a little overdone and furnishings (other than the mattress, which was TOP quality and appliances which were also top notch), were sparse and spartan. Its an eclectic mix for an eclectic setting. * The conditional aspect: You get a secure reserved parking place as an added perk with this place, which is an appreciable amenity downtown. The problem is that to get from the parking to the room requires a walk to the car to an elevator that takes you to the ground floor to get to the building access point, after which there are various doors and corridors to navigate to get to the second elevator which you then take up to get to the room. It's less trouble if you're backpaking it, but less simple if you have luggage. If Melissa hasn't added a folding wagon to the room's accoutrements by the time you read this (and she might, given that except for furniture, the suite already has everything else you might need) you might want to bring your own (folding wagon). In total, this place is only 2 small steps shy of being perfect and for us it was memorable and fun.
