"Centrally situated near to all amenities. My single room was basic but comfortable enough, spotlessly cleaned every day and quiet. Breakfast (included) was plentiful and well cooked and presented. I recommend that you check the hot water on entry as when I checked in I wsinceas very tired after my journey and piled into bed. In the morning I found I had no hot water in sink or shower and went to reception to complain. No problem says the girl, I'll be up in 5 minutes to switch it on. Maybe the Guy who checked me in didn't think I looked like I used hot water, just saying. The view from my window looking over the green would have been lovely had it not been for the fact that the windows to have not been cleaned since the building was built."

We had breakfast included in our room rate and this was excellent every day from the Full Scottish breakfast to the omelettes and poached eggs on toast. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Parking is also free across the road in the car park."

"Hotel has nice decor and the room was clean. However, noisy guests and smoking marijuana outside the hotel due to location (lots of strange pubs nearby). The photo of the hotel is deceiving. It's right on a main road which is in a pretty run down area. SPA We booked to have a nice relax in steam room and pool. However, you have to pay £50 per person just to sit in a steam room for 2 hours. A bit excessive."
