"This place is really good, but it is hidden in the woods. The taxi driver mentioned that the area can be dangerous, so just stay alert wherever you go."

"A convenient place to stay for those wishing to explore Comayagua. Patio de Joan is only a few blocks from the city center and the central park area.
The couple who own Patio de Joan were both very nice people, the wife conversational in English. The room was nice and the outdoor sitting area pleasant. Each morning they offered coffee in the outdoor sitting area which was very nice.
Prior reviewers have mentioned the noise from a nearby bar. That bar was on the same side of the street as Patio de Joan but at the other end of the block. So it wasn't like the sound of the music was next door. You could hear the music if you kept the window open at night. However the noise was not at a level that I found disturbing. I simply used ear plugs and "blue toothed" my headphones to "white noise" on my hand held device throughout the night. "
