"We had a great time at this cottage and enjoyed our stay. The property itself is beautiful, and the cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. We were disappointed by the dock, as it was not put together as advertised in the photos. It was disconnected in several places and sitting on an angle, which made it difficult to use. The cottage was clear of clutter, but the cleanliness upon arrival could have been better. We found socks under the bed from previous guests, there was a very noticeable amount of dirt, dust, and hair / pet hair throughout the cottage, and the couch had some staining. I ended up sweeping and mopping when we arrived, and I didn’t feel comfortable until it had been cleaned. Overall, the property is very nice. With some extra attention to cleaning and maintenance, it would be an even better experience. We had a wonderful stay and made great memories at the cottage."

"Great place, went swimming off dock, caught a nice Bass (safely released) location was good, groceries five minutes away, would definitely stay here again, hard to get a boat rental on this lake though, other than that had a great time"

"Very nice property! The host was very helpful once it was clear they somehow had missed our arrival to arrange for speedy cleanup, access to the property, and compensation. Nice property with access to water (very shallow very far, ideal for small children). Too bad we couldn’t make a fire because of the ban. Old building but nicely renovated. Be ready for at least a train a night that is hard to ignore due to proximity. "
