"Loved the home. Was perfect for our family. Road is close so it can be a little loud. Wish the mooring buoy was in deeper water so it would accommodate wake surf boat. Great house and location and Sandy the host is very responsive and helpful. Sunrise on the lake was amazing!"

"The cabin and surrounding grounds are beautiful! The hiking trails were lovely and full of pleasant surprises. We were a large group (10 people with additional local family visiting), and the property- especially the fully stocked fire pit- were perfect for socializing. The atmosphere was so serene! The owner was very communicative, and we had no issues with the property during our stay."

"The flat is spacious, centrally located, and quite clean. There is a blow-up mattress provided that easily remained in place for the duration of our holiday without being in the way. The seating area was comfortable, and TV allowed you to sign in to your streaming accounts. The bedroom had extra space at the end of the bed for an air cooling machine to sit (to pump cool air into the flat). The closet would be more than adequate for everyone to hang their clothes for a week-long trip.We looked for something to do in East Jordan. It's very small. We found the following: bingo, pizza then watching softball games across the street from pizza place, coffee house across the street from flat, sandy beach, and garage sales. But being close to everywhere we wanted to go (for a good price) was quite nice.Upon arrival, we were looking for the exterior shown in the photos, but don't. There is a door marked with the address, between a tattoo shop and clothing store. This flat is above the tattoo shop. (We didn't hear a peep out of them, and they were quite nice to answer questions for us,) If you are unable or unwilling to make a flight of stairs arriving and leaving each time, with bags, suitcases, and groceries, find another place. The stairs are steep, long, and can be quite dark - but have one railing.There is a code to get in the door and to lock it as you leave - be sure you get both.Samantha was prompt with returning texts or calls, and helpful with our needs."

"We had an excellent vacation. Everything was just right.And it worked out perfect for the girls and myself we had a boat, so it really worked out well. Having the tie out and being able to keep it out in the lake!! I will definitely be recommending and probably renting again!!"

"Our family stayed here to celebrate our mom's 75th birthday. The property was beautiful, a very private and comfortable environment. The house, pool, and hot tub were very clean. The rooms worked well for all us, had plenty of pillows and blankets provided , as well as towels for the bathroom and pool. We enjoyed swimming everyday. We had kids from ages 16 - 6 and everyone enjoyed themselves. The surrounding area is so beautiful! As I had questions I wrote to Liz and she was very prompt to respond. Thank you!"

"Very cute home right across the road from the East Jordan arm of lake Charlevoix. There isn’t a ton in east Jordan but you have a grocery store, dollar general and there are a few places to eat. We mostly cooked in or ate on the lake or in town. Boat rental is literally walking distance. The deck is awesome, great views and plenty of seating. Awesome fire pit too! S’mores by the lake is the best. We spent a ton of time outside but we had great weather too. We were Two families with kids. The downstairs was great for kids. Updated and bunks were perfect. Can sleep 5 comfortably. Upstairs bedrooms and kitchen are a little tight, esp bathrooms but it’s an older home and things were just done different. Living area is pretty large though with a huge sectional couch. Worked great for our stay."
