"I booked the Cherry Pitt as a crash pad for our motley crew of single/divorced cousins for our family reunion. The Cherry Pitt could not have been more perfect for our group. It’s immaculately clean, has all the comforts of home, all six of us had our own beds, and the bedroom with the attached bath was perfect for the needs of our disabled cousin. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the huge backyard and lounging and reminiscing in the living room into the wee hours. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and cute. Tracy, the host, is incredibly attentive and kind. We will be back. Highly, highly recommend!"

"The desk staff was super sweet, and commiserated with me about the management's choice to use blue-white LED lighting in the rooms. Not conducive to relaxing! But all in all, an excellent stay in a nice facility!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Angela‘s cottage called Ahr Haus. The location was perfect for visiting our friends and family in the area. The property description was accurate, and we found the property very clean, which is the most important thing to me. She even provided dog bowls and a placemat for our pups."

"The location, property and house were great. Very good price too. The kit hen was well stocked and even came with coffee pods for the coffee machine. The only thing we couldn't find for the kitchen was a cutting board.The space was nice and open in the living area. We enjoyed the sound of the creek in the back yard.The washer and dryer in the finished basement were very helpful. The only downside were the beds. The queen bed in our bedroom was loud and moved like crazy everytime one of us would adjust. The mattress was not comfortable at all. The bunk beds in the other room were good for kids. The ladder was loose at the bottom so when someone climbs it, it would bang on the bed. The remotes needed batteries but we didn't watch a lot of t.v. Again, overall a great place but would consider upgrading the queen bed. On a side not it is very close to the Welcome Inn which has fantastic burgers but has allows smoking inside so we got them to go. Also close to Yorkie's which is the best ice cream we've found within 100 miles."

"The property is beautiful, spacious, and comfortably accommodated all six of us. The pool and outdoor area were amazing!However, several issues affected our stay. No one was there to let us in when we arrived. I texted the appropriate contacts without a response, then called and was told someone would arrive within 15 minutes. We waited over a half an hour.The outdoor area appeared to still be set up from an event, with full garbage bags, chairs, and tables near the pool. The ice maker was not hooked up, and the propane tank for the fire pit was nearly empty.We were also disappointed by the lack of privacy. Property managers came by multiple times to water flowers and do other tasks while we were outside in bathing suits using the pool. Lawn care workers also mowed and weed-whacked one morning, creating a lot of noise while trying to enjoy the patio. We also heard what sounded like an animal, possibly a squirrel or chipmunk, moving inside the ceiling in the kitchen and upstairs bedrooms.The home was a great fit for our group, but the delayed check-in, unfinished cleanup, unavailable amenities, interruptions, noise, and possible animal issue made the stay less relaxing than expected."
