"Road trip from Melbourne to Uluṟu via Coober Pedy. Melissa at reception was the highlight. Super friendly, welcoming and Informative. Local of 30 years corrected our misguided perception of Coober Pedy after reading statistics from Red Suburbs site about the “violent crime” in the town. Statistics are totally misleading and relate to an isolated incident that happened in late 2023 from visiting Alice Springs mob who made their way to Coober Pedy for a funeral.
