"Very impressed with cleanliness. Great cabin.the only thing that I would change is a handrail on the right side of the stairs. I have some mobility issues with my Left arm and leg and nothing to hold on to with my good hand on the right. My fault for not checking. LoL😊 beautiful large rug under the dining table but the chairs get caught and do not go back very well. Almost took my husband down! LoL 😆 overall great place . Would highly recommend."

"This was a comfortable, well kept retreat for two. Everything was new with every detail needed. Only sounds we heard were the birds chirping. We were up on a bluff surrounded by trees so it didn't get overly hot. We could sit on the deck or near the fire pit. If you're not familiar with the roads, it's best to arrive while it's still light out. The hosts were gracious, friendly and very accommodating."

"Very nice cabins with all amenities in a very quiet location over looking a river. I came to photograph the area waterfalls all of which were less than 30 minutes away. Everything you could need is less than a 40 minute drive. I would highly recommend Bear Bluff Retreat....."

"Dragon Flies, Fireflies, Deer, Ground hog, turtles, fish and the occasional hawk sighting. This has got to be one of the most peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable stays I have yet encountered in my years of staying at VRBOs. A terrific experience. From the first communication, to checking out, everything was at it should be and better. Upon arrival late at night, the lights where on for us, the A/C was on making the temperature just right and after a 15 hour drive, finding ice ready for us was a treat....

"This was a great getaway spot for my boys and I. Plenty of room for the four of us. As the description of the place says, I highly suggest a high profile vehicle. I am thankful I have a Tahoe, because I would imagine taking a low sitting car up the road that goes right to the house, would not be a good idea. We ventured into Nashville one day and into Cookeville. Plenty of cookware. There was even an electric griddle that I used to make pancakes on. We sleep with box fans for white noise. They...

"My husband and I stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend. Beatiful clean little house. All necessary necessities provided. Awesome view of lake below. Boat Ramp within walking distance. Parking area at facility provided. Road to get in a little rough and bumpy but it appears they were working on it. Overall stay was awesome. Very comfy bed too which normally doesn't happen. Highly recommend. We will definetly stay again. Thank you for sharing your view and home."

"Overall the stay was great! Great location and great views! Wish we could have had a fire. However, fireplaces are not allowed to be operated. We stay in cabins 10-15 times a year and fires are a staple of our stay as a family. Therefore, this was our only letdown. Overall great stay!"

"This little cabin has a beautiful view of the lake and the scenery was gorgeous. It’s was very quiet while we were there. My brain needed to hear those whipperwhills again along with the crickets…lol. Cabin was spotless and clean. Had all you needed for a getaway. Absolutely loved it.
