"Loved the mansion! We were able to have a little post graduation soirée with our family and a few of my sons friends as their last goodbye after graduation. We played games on the porch in the balmy spring air and fantasized what generations had done the same for decades prior. It was perfect!"

"This property is a great option to host friends or family in La Crosse! Our group was all alumni and we decided to come back to town for the beer wine and cheese fest. The house was bigger than expected, it had a great yard, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and it was a walkable distance from downtown. Not to mention affordable, especially compared to hotel prices during event weekends. We will definitely be staying here again for future alumni get togethers."

"Average place. Fairly clean, ok beds, tiny, cheap living room furniture. I see reviews from 6 months ago about the broken railing, still not fixed. Even worse is the wood railing behind the house. Someone is going to get hurt. Reasonable price, got what we paid for."

The location was perfect for our activities: visiting UWL, going up Granddad's Bluff, having food & beverages and shopping in Downtown and visiting the Riverwalk. The house was very clean and quiet! Would definitely stay here again! There were no surprises. The house looks exactly as pictured!"

"We travel to the Driftless area several times a year since 2017 as a family getaway and this property has become one that we will return to without hesitation. Isolated enough but an easy 15-20 minute drive to Viroqua if you need anything. The owners are very responsive and helpful since booking through checkout. The property is as listed with beautiful views and nature sounds. Looking forward to future visits at this property & exploring the area more! Thank you again for sharing!"

"Had a great stay here. Perfect place for our 1st fly fishing trip. Place is clean and adequately furnished/supplied. Short drive to great fishing around the area as well as 10 minutes out of town. Host is super accommodating and even allowed us a few extra hours before check out on departure day to get a few more hours on the river."

"This is the second year we’ve stayed here for a family reunion. The location is the #1 perk of the whole property. Set in a valley with bluffs surrounding it with a creek running through. Just beautiful! The house has enough bedrooms for us all with plenty of space for us to mingle.
