The rooms were very warm even though the outside temperature was below zero. Neat and tidy, comfortable. Plenty of hot water for a hot shower.
We were going skiing very early so a full breakfast served from 6:00 am was handy. Price $10 for full breakfast!!!
Well worth it to stay there, as it is only 20min drive to Jindabyne and the prices are much cheaper in Cooba Motel!
It's OK to stay as it's closer to snow than from Cooma for the price. However, the dinner offered there is not great value. Better to eat in the pub in Berridale as there isn't a common/ shared kitchen area to prepare your own meals. There isn't a dry room for skis, so please be aware of this when staying there and going skiing.
Plenty school kids in hotel ... every day new group of 50 ... hotel old like back to 60th experience. Road to hotel is suitable only for off road cars ... place of last choice
I liked that it had a pool but it was closed for maintainance
No powerpoint under desk so hard to use a laptop
Asked for a power extension cord they gave us one to use very nice staff
The unit was clean and tidy. However, the power switched off at midnight, no light, no heater, no hot water. It was so cold and freezing. My children got sick after that. Asked for discount but no response. The service was so bad.

We are sorry if you believe the power and hot water switches off but the water and heating system is gas and uses a big boiler system. It does not go off. Some people do try many things to get a discount so sorry that we cannot give a discount overtime someone requests it. No-one else reported that the hot water and heating went out. Sorry your stay was not a pleasant as you hoped. We do go out of our way to remedy any complaints when we can do something about it.
Nice and warm, great for a snow trip. It is a school camp venue so keep that in mind

Excellent for friendly groups
Clean, comfortable. Could do with a decoration refresh. Beds are very generous for one, but there's no way you'd get two in one.

Clean comfy room but quite far for skiing
I booked the room for 4pax and got a cabin behind the main building. The cabin is awesome, heater works really well. Room is bit old but clean and has everything you need. Kitchen is fully equipped as well so it’s great for family.
My only problem is the offroad hike for the car to reach our cabin is quite steep with steps. That won’t be a problem if you’re driving a SUV.

It's snow season, so the prices are really high for the standard of accommodation. Definitely would stay here again, nice and warm, clean sheets and nice staff.

Very basic but comfy, warm & cheap! Little disappointed no microwave in room & effectively no plates, bowls or cutlery but kitchen was happy to oblige - also nowhere to sit except for the beds. Did the job though.
Very hospitable staff. Plenty of fun facilities and things to while away the weekend.

Comfortable Basic Room
Comfortable room which was great for a last minute visit to the snow. Even though it is located a bit out of town, it was good value. Additionally, the basic continental breakfast allowed us to eat and hit the road early to get to ski fields and not have to worry about finding food to start the day.
Clean, comfortable & quiet with good parking. In a lovely location.

Didn't fit my needs
People stomping above my room at 6am both mornings aswell as a bunch of school girls playing loud music in the early hours. No dryer room for our skii gear. Website says they have housekeeping daily but our beds were not made and we had to go to reception to ask for fresh towels. There was a surcharge for breakfast, not included which sucked. I wouldn't recommend to a friend. TV kept cutting out no matter what channel we had it on. First night hot water in the shower on full blast but came out luke warm.
The rates were very reasonable for the snow season, the rooms were very clean and very well kept, the water was hot (very important in the sub-zero temps and after a day at the snow!) and the staff were amazingly helpful and always willing to lend a hand with anything. The feeling of the whole place was very homely and overall just a great experience!
Location is nice but the facilities specified on the decription were not available. No kicthenette, was damaged. We turned up with food for cooking and were very dissappointed to see we couldnt access a stove. When we complained they gave us a camping stove..
Also was very run down, needs mainatenance bigtime..

Rural, peaceful, natural surroundings
Facilities were old (stayed in cabin) but definitely can't complain as price was good and the location and scenery was priceless! Overall I was very happy with my stay and will definitely come here again. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.
