We were in town for a wedding. This worked out perfect for us. We were only 5 minutes from wedding destination, but far enough away to enjoy some quiet time. The option to be able to cook instead of eating out every meal is also a bonus. If ever in the area I would book again.

Nice grounds to explore on the property, as well as nice amenities inside and out. There were other properties/guests there, but since we were in the back on the hill, it felt very private.

Loved it!!

This is a great little place to stay at. Perfect location, plenty of space and it has a nice little backyard for dogs or just hanging out. Very cozy and clean, looking forward to staying here again.

Nice getaway

Lovely, peaceful little getaway`

We were looking for somewhere off the grid to vacation for our anniversary, cat in tow, and George's Hilltop was perfect. Very clean, simple but comfortable surroundings, beautiful countryside - overall it was just what we needed.

Clean, Comfy and Cozy

This was a beautiful place to stay! The loft was lovely, clean, beautifully appointed, with peaceful surroundings. We would definitely stay here again. On a scale of 1-10 this one is a 10! Thanks for a great weekend. P.S. check out the Laughing Horse Saloon in nearby Thompsonville. Sit at the bar. Food, drinks and staff are great.

A great weekend get-away

Everything about this spot was as expected. It was clean when we arrived. Plenty towels in the bath (and decent water pressure and immediate hot water!). Plates, silverware, pots, etc, in the kitchen. It was cozy and exactly what we were looking for. The only drawbacks were a very strong smell that had me opening the windows immediately upon entering and the bed was terrible. The mattress was worn out and I kept waking up in the center of the bed at the lowest point. The bed and smell weren't bad enough to keep me from returning, but something I would note to anyone thinking of staying there. I LOVED not having a list of cleaning duties like at all other homes I've stayed at. Overall, I recommend it this cute home. Thanks to the Meyers family for a pleasant weekend away.

Property is a nicely maintained efficiency apartment. The stove and microwave were efficiency sized. Everything needed to prep meals and clean up is provided. All the appliances worked and were in good order. Lots of nice touches such as the number of outlets in the bedroom, lots of helpful products like press and seal wrap. The coffee maker uses either grinds or pods. Other nice touches include the washer and dryer and dishwasher. The outdoor area is also very nice. The hosts were outstanding, very responsive and caring. I’m thinking about returning with other family members and renting the adjoining property. I think that probably says it all.

Very nice loft apartment on a peaceful and scenic property. Perfect for one or two. Easy drives to Leland, Frankfort, and Pierce Stocking drive. Two miles from Rosie’s Country Cafe for a great breakfast.
