The people were friendly and helpful. The beds and the breakfast were very good It was a bit hard to find the place by car. The bedside lamps were not functioning. Worst thing was the shower: the water drainage did not work. That needs fixing.

The rooms were without any extra's. No coffeemaker no föhn etc. For the price of a single room could have done more. Even the beds were not in a good condition. The breakfast was ok.

The room was ok but extremely warm due to the sun and that they had not had the curtains closed during the day. It was hard to sleep because of the temperature. The carpet in the room was filthy. They served breakfast for 8 am during the weekend which is too late. It is not a place you stay at for the weekend as a holiday, simply a place to stay as you are travelling for business or passing through. It is lokalted litterally next to a major road.

Something out of fawlty towers!

No one at reception during normal hours (5:30pm ish). Recieved keys from a nice young lady, who had booked the venue for a party?! She did not work at the hotel, but was instructed regarding keys and nothing else. I did not show id to get my roomkeys. Rooms were ok, but only towels for half the guest and no hot water. Asked the next morning in reception when we could expect the hot water back, and the answer was "that's a really good question". I didn't feel that continuing that conversation made any sense after that. Breakfast was tolerable, other than both yogurts i opened was mouldy, although they were not expired so dont really know what happened there. This is by far the strangest hotel experience I have ever had, and surprised to find it in my home country

Rigtig fint til prisen. God beliggenhed med nem adgang til indfaldsveje. Overraskende at man slet ikke kunne høre trafiklarm fra værelset, hvilket var positivt. Meget flot og nyrenoveret værelse - tydeligt, at de er i en overgangsperiode, da hovedbygningen med spisesal bar meget præg af at være ældre. Eneste minus på værelset var, at det var meget lydt til de andre værelser og at der ikke var lys i sengelamperne - og at en transportabel lampe på skrivebordet manglede oplader og var afladet. Så det eneste lys, var spotlys i loftet. Gode parkeringsmuligheder og god telefonservice. Nem elektronisk indtjekning. Jeg manglede tider for morgenmad i bookingoplysninger og på hjemmesiden, men det stod på fysisk skilt i receptionen. Placeringen er ikke i sig selv en attraktiv destination, men er fremragende som overnatning med udflugtsmål i fx København og Roskilde. Bonus at morgenmad var inkluderet - og til så billig en overnatningspris, var der et ok udvalg.

There were worms in the room. The room was not cleaned. We only stayed one night out of four. No one was there for us to get any help. No refund was given for the 3 nights we didn’t stay there.

Absolut Fint rent overskueligt værelse til prisen. Let adgang. Besværlig check in hvor man skal være IT kreativ for at komme gennem. Vi fandt Ingen info om tidspunkt for at weekend morgenmad var 2 timer senere og ikke kunne benyttes af os . Internet fint, parkering fin.

Ingen betjening, umuligt at logge på wifi, engeksktalende tlf-service opgav forkert kode. Utrolig bøvlet indcheckning. Morgenmad først klokken 8, meget sent for rejsende. Vi tog en taxa kl 7.30. Ikke muligt at få en madpakke med.

Bra för genomresa

Rummen är nyrenoverade, dock kanske inte med kvalitetsmaterial. Känns ändå som fräscha rum. Fick aldrig något lösen till wifi och de svarade aldrig i chatfunktionen de hade, så räkna inte med att ha tillgång till detta. Frukosten sker i en gammal lokal och det ligger ingen kärlek nedlagd i tillagningen. Du får en frukost, inte mer. Men med tanke på vad det är så tycker jag inte man kan kräva så mycket. Jag hade fortfarande stannat till om jag hade vägarna förbi igen för att det var bekvämt, men då sett till att ha wifilösen innan....

Feedback regarding my stay at A Hotel Roskilde (July 11–13, 2025) I had booked a stay at A Hotel Roskilde from July 11 to July 13, 2025, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Before check-in, I tried several times to contact the hotel for information, but received no response. After check-in, I found that the room was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly after the previous guests had checked out. I contacted both the hotel staff and Hotels.com to request a solution, but was told there were no similar rooms available, and that I could not receive a refund. No alternative room or compensation was offered, which I find highly unsatisfactory. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend A Hotel Roskilde or Hotels.com to others. The level of service and how the situation was handled were unacceptable.

For så vidt et fint værelse. Det manglede dog badeforhæng og en bademåtte. Gulvet i badeværelse blev meget glat når der kom vand på. Morgenmaden var så ringe at den ikke er værd at skrive om. Der manglede også håndsprit ved morgenmaden. Desværre ikke et sted vi anbefaler.
