Big rooms and bathroom, comfortable beds and fluffy towels. TV was huge but couldn't get casting to work well. Bathroom products were lacking. Location was super easy, close to the end of the blue line.

An old industrial portside area that has been completely rebuilt and which is still getting expanded. It's a pleasant area to walk through and enjoy seeing the busy portside activity - ships coming and going, cargo being loaded and unloaded. If the weather turns unpleasant you can wait it out in the very pleasant hotel lobby, and there's the M4 Metro line stop 3-4min walk away from the hotel (oh and there's an umbrella service available by the entrance at the lobby - just swipe ypur keycard). There's also the water ferry stopping right next to the metro stop - metro is very quick and lets you get into the city in a snap, but the ferry will take about an hour to go all the way through all the stops to the other end of Copenhagen, just note that while the metro stop is indoors area with roof cover, the ferry stop isn't (some of the stops later in it's route do have roof cover tho). My trip was very pleasant and in fact I will be returning here in the near future to get to experience some attractions I didn't get to or didn't have time for.

Perfect for our family vacation. Stayed 3 nights and the location, rooms and comfort were great. The metro is just around the corner and runs every 3 mins takes you into the centre in less than 10 mins. The ferry terminal is also next to the metro so you can travel to Nyhavn every half hour and enjoy the view from the river. The breakfast buffet was great with loads of choice, although like all prices in Denmark it wasn’t cheap! Around £20 per person - so for a family of 5 cost almost £300 during our stay. (May have been cheaper if pre-booked but we didn’t get this option with Expedia) Overall the hotel is more geared towards business people/conferences but don’t let this put you off because the transport in Copenhagen is so easy and efficient it makes Portside a good alternative from the more expensive and smaller hotels in the centre.
