Even with tasteful decoration, one unprofessional staff can tarnish the entire experience, ruining the pleasant and welcoming first impressions. The initial of this female staff member at the front desk is Miss I.M. A person with such snobbish and arrogant attitude should not be in client-facing service fields. Miss I.M. could not be bothered to care about the comfort of hotel guests, only her own convenience. I question who, in their right mind, placed her at the front desk in the first place.

Gorgeous hotel in a really great location. Our room was really large and we had a great view. The interior of the hotel was really nice but our room was a little tired. There was scuff marks on the walls. The breakfast was really convenient & my favourite part was the daily juices & smoothies. The eggs were cooked just right. I loved the idea or wine hour & night cap hour.

SP34 is an excellent location for a base in Copenhagen. The buffet breakfast is lovely, and mostly organic. Wine hour and night cap was also a personal favourite. We upgraded to the penthouse suite and it was worth it for the free drinks. We also had children with us so the extra space was needed. Other reviewers mention the walls are quite scuffed. Yes it could do with a lick of paint and the corridors have a funny smell, but it’s still a really nice hotel, the main reception area is lovely, and location is wonderful. It’s definitely worth staying at for a base in Copenhagen. The surrounding streets have lots of lovely shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The bakery further along the street is a must!!!

The Hotel SP34 is a great option for visiting Copenhagen. Central location with delicious in house dining options. The room was clean and functional. The evening happy hour and night cap were a bonus.

This is my third stay at SP34- I cannot say enough positive things about the staff! The hotel lobby has a wine hour from 5-6p and it’s packed with cool people enjoying wine (or drinks from the bar), listening to cool music- and then there’s a night cap hour from 10-11p. The vibe and decor are just really cool. I’ll be back again for a fourth time I’m sure!

3 nights stay for a short city break. Stylish and individual. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was clean roomy and stylish. One or two things could perhaps do with a little attention (rough edge to bottom of bathroom door) but I’m not picking and it certainly didn’t get in the way of a brilliant trip. The wine hour and nightcap hour were really appreciated after a long day seeing the sights.

I stayed here for two nights, and the location is really cute and central. The design is nice, but showing wear and tear: scratches in the walls and furniture, a broken bag stand, one showerhead clogged up and splashing water all over, the other one moldy. On its own this wouldn’t have been the end of the world, but along with a pretty inconsistent service experience, leaves an overall poor impression. Arriving at 7pm, I got checked into a room that hadn’t been cleaned, and it took the friendly receptionist a while running around to find another. Next morning stressed housekeeping staff woke me up at 9.30 am to make up my room. The real joker however was that I booked a superior double room, which consisted of two twin beds not mounted together so that they’d separate if you laid in the middle. When I addressed this at reception, I was told sternly and quite unfriendly, that this was ‘perfectly normal’’ and ‘how it is everywhere’. As a fellow Dane and someone who spends a ton of times in hotels, it certainly isn’t to me. Her demeanor suggested that I was a bit of an idiot for wanting a king size or queen bed, and should just have read the fine print. I do realize that the website says double or twin, but why put a single traveler in a twin bed, and why not just move me to another room? Overall, I would spend my money elsewhere.

Fantastic location within walking distance of all central attractions. Locality very appealing too with lots of quirky bars, cafes and restaurants. The staff without exception were all very helpful and friendly too.

I’ve stayed in a few Brøchner hotels over the years and had some of the best hotel experiences, sadly this one fell far below expectations. Room was on the small sideand not clean on arrival (the last guest’s used sanitary products were still in the bin!!!) this is just sloppy housekeeping. The hotel was tired and didn't feel cared for. Breakfast was the high point, but it didn’t make up for the rest of the experience. Rather put me off the whole Brøchner group… shame

Fantastic staff and breakfast also lovely touch with the free wines and night cap hours only complaint is room we had 224 it was impossible to get in and out of the bed at night as had to climb over the other person especially hard for mid 50 year olds probably not some much of an issue for younger people To be fair I didn’t complain about the room while we was there as hotel was full I understand but for our age room and bed not suitable but as I say apart from bed issue everything else about the hotel was great

This hotel is the best - the superb location near city center and small quaint streets, modern boutique rooms furnished with Danish furnitures, artful common space, daily social hour, friendly staff, reasonable rate, and nearby cool restaurants and shops. Its a great location. The public areas are sociable. Some of the staff are friendly. But room so small i hit my head and shoulder on the wall lamp every time i get out of bed at night; walls very dirty; and despite asking at reception I struggle to get them to clean the room before 5pm several days. On Friday i had to ask at 6pm for the room to be cleaned even though it had been empty since12.30. The only reason i was there so late was because the safe has malfunctioned three times and i was there getting it fixed.. I have had to ask for fresh towels as they forgot to replace them. The room key has failed. I have been waiting for a week for the in room fitness kit they offer, asking every day (i dont think they have any although they offer it). I tried the gym but it is very dark and gloomy. I have about 6 inches width of hanging space in the room and no space to put suitcases. Today i went to reception at 2pm to ask if they could have the room cleaned before 3pm as i wished to shower and rest after that (I had been out of the room since 9am providing plenty of time for cleaning). She said she would call housekeeping and make sure it was finished by 3pm. At 3pm i was still waiting in the room for cleaning unable to start my shower, and then the cleaners finally arrived, leaving me very little time to shower and change before heading out again, then my 3 friends checked in same rate and all of them have much larger rooms with much more hanging space. Very disappointing.

The room looked rather ‘tired’, there was dirt on the walls. Nothing special for this price. The room was pre-paid, but they reserved a significunt sum on my account after the check-out without any notice and clear explanation. The communication with the stuff on that issue was hortible. It’s been a week now and money haven’t returned to my account yet. Definitely won’t recommend this hotel.

Room I stayed in was beaten up and ammenities were very old. Service and staff were really nice though except for breakfast, which was very crowded, unmanaged and sometimes they were out of some items like pancake for my kid even thought I prepaid my breakfast. They can definitely manage their breakfast and dining area with a host. I wouldn’t stay here next time or wouldn’t recommend this place.

Great property with many unique amenities such as included extensive buffet breakfast and hosted wine hours at night. Room was quiet and comfortable but very simple. The bathroom was disappointing with an open concept for the shower and made the entire floor area around the toilet and sink completely wet …. Definitely not ideal and was dangerous to potentially slip. The bathroom was very small and not satisfactory which is why I did not rate this property with higher stars.

Excellent everything!!
Everything is first class about SP34 Copenhagen. From the staff who gave excellent advice on trips & restaurants, through to the superb organic breakfast each morning, & - a highlight for my 20 year old! - wine o'clock & night cap! The facilities & cleanliness of our room was perfect & the location is super; a pleasant walk into town through lovely hip shops & cafes.
