The inclusive breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of items. The staff was friendly and offered advice on transportation and restaurant recommendations. The location is very good and only a few minutes' walk to the nearest metro stop. However, the rooms are old and tired, and need updates. The air conditioning was not really functional, and the toilet did not flush well. The TV is small.

Very nice staff during three day stay, helpful, polite. Location great. Renovations going on hotel but well managed. Adjacent hotel very noisy renovations. Good value for money. Fantastic buffet breakfast.

Great stay. Awesome breakfast buffet. The 26 bus stops near end of hotel. Take the 26 to Tivoli, Central Station and the Carlsburg Brewery. The main square is a few minutes walk from hotel. Restaurants everywhere. Great location. 👍👍

I’ve stayed in other scandic hotels and they are far superior. I expected a lot better for the location and wouldn’t stay here again. The gym equipment sticks and is is poor state, the cables jolt and the rowing machine needs oiling. I left and found a puregym in the centre and used day passes instead. The breakfast was pretty average, I’ve had a lot better in the other hotels. The hotel is being refurbed, which may have explained the smell of sewage in the lift? Perhaps. The room itself had a comfortable bed, but poor air conditioning. I had to sleep with an open window instead. There was no fridge and in a ridiculously hot room, it would have been nice to have cold water. The paint is chipped on the corners of the walls and the raised shower leaked onto floor next to it. Definitely would not recommend this one to anyone. There are budget hotels who provide better service, if this was my first time using scandic I wouldn’t go to any others in the future.

We very much enjoyed the location of the property. And we REALLY loved the heated floors in the bathrooms. But the hotel itself was somewhat disappointing. We were charged an extra 150.00 DKK to check in two hours early, and one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was for access to a gym. It was not until we arrived that we learned the hotel was under construction and gym access had to be permitted by a front desk clerk and was accomplished through the kitchen. While the breakfast spread appeared the impressive at first glance, many of the items were disappointing (the scrambled eggs were cold, and they had only soft boiled eggs, the fruit selection as rather limited).

Great location but a bit tired and not well maintained. Our room didn't have a small fridge, whereas our fellow travellers that we were traveling with did and the space where it should have been was a bit of a hole. Breakfast good and service pretty good. Tiny tiny bathroom!

The breakfast was outstanding. We had a room with a great view of the harbor. It had a second story where the bedroom and bath was located. The only problem was it had a narrow winding staircase with tine steps to get to the second floor. Being older folks we could not carry suitcases to the upper level, and with my neuropathy I had to use both hands on the staircase to go up and down. But that was only an inconvenience, the rest was great. We had bicycles to use to see the city. I highly recommend the hotel.

We loved our 10 night stay in this hotel and the included breakfast buffet was very good. The room was spacious and quiet with a large comfortable bed. Self organising of room cleaning did not always work well despite booking the night before but it’s a good idea for sustainability.

I really liked this hotel! Great location, nice area, nice staff, nice breakfast. Good value for money. One thing which was a shame- my room was very near the cleaners cupboard so although they were trying to be quiet they woke me up every morning as they started their work

First time in Copenhagen
Overall a pretty good experience and definitely convenient location with great view on the water. Breakfast was very good and had plenty of options. Room we had was nice sized and had good view but was a little dated (but not holding that against them). Elevators were the big negative (very small and one did not even have lights) so we took stairs most of the time. All in all a good experience and we would stay here again if we return to Copenhagen.

Location, Location, LOCATION! Really close to the Nyhavn, Amalienborg palace and other attractions. There are lots of dining options from cafes, restaurants and Gasoline Grills burgers! Room was nice size, compared to other hotels. A/C was working nicely too. I think the best thing about this hotel is the included breakfast buffet, which was delicious and quite hearty. Everything was labeled nicely for gluten, vegan/vegetarian and so forth. Would definitely recommend!

Three Nights in Copenhagen
Scandic Front is perfectly situated in Copenhagen with a great view over the harbor. They received and kept a package for me until my arrival, for which I am very grateful. The service was very friendly and the room spacious and comfortable.
